5:31 I think many people don’t like Bryce and Hunt because they have a pretty healthy normal relationship. They aren’t enemies to lover and they haven’t had to fight for their love (until now). They could just have a normal, healthy every day relationship. I like that. It’s different from her other relationships. Hunt is just someone who has had enough. You don’t see him being a bad-ass because he doesn’t want to be one. He wants a normal life and to stay out of trouble.

Probably a long shot, but The Asteri mentioned there was more of them lost or trapped maybe on other worlds & I can’t quite get it out of my head that I think Amren is one of the Asteri & she just maybe forgot her origins or something. It definitely left me hungry for more & I can’t wait. Just a thought. ❤️

I was also super surprised by the ending, it made the whole book worth it. I'm really hoping that since Bryce has been living in a planet that isn't her species home planet she will have a greater affinity with her magic and actually learn things before getting back to Cresent City. Bryce and Ruhn are clearly decendants of Rhys' family so I'm excited to hear that background also!

Ok but WHAT IF Fury’s powers have something to do with the Asteri, or Amren?! Fury just gives me SO MUCH Celaena Sardothien vibes and I love it

it took me a month to read the first half and a day to read the second half. my biggest issue was how obvious the asteri were like i literally left a note in the beginning that i thought the asteri were feeding off of first light. i felt like the whole “we’re gonna wait until winter solstice” thing was just a way to prevent the mating bond from snapping earlier and bringing in cormac and everything. hopefully the next one will be good for all of it and not just the last part.

Whenever it was mentioned the Valbara fae and Avallon Fae I couldn’t stop myself from comparing the fire ones simillar to TOG series, and the valbaran ones to Rhys’s powers! Like Ruhn is daemati and he also has his shadows like?! So the ending just confirmed my crazy theory that they are probably ancestors or something, and Bryce described Rhys as almost identical to Ruhn… AAAAA my mind is exploding

OMG just finished it last night and my mind was blown lol! And so happy!! All these theories started popping into my head.

I was equally excited about the merging of these two stories, and I love how you described it as feeling like you're being reunited with old friends, because that's exactly how I felt. I had a feeling we were going to see these worlds merged in some way because of talk about other worlds and the harp in a court of silver flames and when the asteri were talking about a different fae planet that saw them for who they really were I was suspicious it could be the acotar world. Even still I was blown away by the ending and some how did not see them merging in this way and am so here for it. Like you, I'm wondering how future books are going to be. I really hope the next acotar book addresses this some how.

I'm glad that someone is freaking out about this as much as me. When I read the last chapter, I literally bolted up in bed and starting freaking out, startling my husband lol. I also felt like this series drags and had to kind of force myself to read it, but I pushed through it because I love SJM so much, and I am so glad that I did. I was also completely taken by surprise by it, although I guess I shouldn't be, because she throws Rhys and Feyre into a random scene in KOA (which I was also freaking out about). I am so excited to see where this goes, and totally didn't think about some of the things that you brought up in your video. Thanks for sharing!

Haha! Love that story about you startling your husband, my husband was also really confused about my reaction when I got to the last chapter lol. Also, I didn't know KOA had a scene with Rhys and Feyre! I still need to read the ToG series!

The Crescent City series is a STRUGGLE READ. I was very excited for the first book, but half way through I gave up and just read the last 4 chapters. I was hoping HOSAB would be better. It was not. I struggled to read the first 100 pages. I read the last chapter and was like 🤯. I LOVE ACOTAR. Buuuuut...I'm don't want these two series to mingle 😭. Im hoping the ACOTAR characters tell her how to beat the Asteri and then she goes away from them forever. I hope she's not in Elaine's book, only like a flashback. Having my favorite characters in a book series I don't like would be really disappointing. As would having Bryce be a major character in the future ACOTAR books. 😮💨 I wanted more from the Crescent City series, sadly this ending isn't enough....

Can anyone explain to me if they think Bryce went forward or back in time??? She described their outfits as vintage like in a old renaissance movie but when they heard Bryce speak (what she caller an ancient fae language) they said no one had spoken that in 15,000 years. So Was there time travel? Or is it a parallel universe where the language was 15,000 years old to all of them?

Agree! There was so much that annoyed me about the way this book was written. She leaves all the exciting read until the very end which is frustrating

The only books by this author that I have read are these first two Crescent City books. Watching your video it seems like I should know the characters Bryce meets at the end. I assume there are other books or another series by the same author… I’ll have to look into that. You are right about the book being difficult to get thru and to me, Ruin’s story with his mental connection is more interesting than anything that Bryce does looking for the kid. The whole Mate concept is super cringe to me, but whatever. The thing that will keep me going in this series is Ethan’s story line, and the Astronomer, where Hell comes into play, and how Therion’s story pans out with Team River Queen vs Team Viper Queen.

the multiple "Planets" where allready in A throne of Glas so we know that there is more then one world and they all conected in some way. also Am said she came from a nother world into this one and that she was something like a God there. So ye there where hints and S J M likes to include other worlds into her books and merge them in some way.
