Distalization of upper molars to correct Class II cases is an option when extraction is not desired or indicated. The use of distalizers like Sliding Jigs is very common and widespread globally. My question is, are we constructing the Sliding Jig correctly? What is the final result of molar distalization using this type of device? 1. Is it a translation or 2. Is it a tipping? We will talk a lot about this during Biomechanics Week. Stay tuned from July 1st to 7th, don’t miss this opportunity. The link is in the bio.
