In regard to your cattle's eye (didn't catch her name), I would rule out a fungal infection - ringworm. (grew up on a dairy farm and ringworm was the first thing I thought of) Check with your vet for a topical .. will need to scrape away the crust and then apply. Our vet would come out and take care of it so I do not know the specifics of what he used.

My go to for all critters is diluted colloidal silver in a spray bottle. Can spray in eyes, all boo boos, can be ingested. Give her cubes, quick spray done. I have used on critters large and small. Out in the field, quick spray and run if need be. You can get a most drug stores, if not can get it on Amazon.

If it is a flat area and just has no hair, most likely ringworm. Winter and early spring is when ringworm ramps up. A good loose mineral program.will pretty much eliminate it from happening. Any kind of antifungal spray or cream will fix ringworm. But you will need a way to hold her still while applying it.

I'm not sure what that is on Tessie's eye, but calendula ointment would likely help it out.

Try to find Banixx, that is the name, also the Companies name, so you can get it direct if unable to find it at feed store. I use it myself, but it works on fungal, bacterial, rain rot, wounds, etc. You can even use if on the chickens, dogs, pigs, I am not sure what can't take it. I have used it for years and will never use another kind since finding it. The feed stores generally get sold out as soon as it comes in. It is a spray, they also have a shampoo, not sure what else.Horses, mammals. I had sores I could not get rid of, the doctors were not helpful. Finally I found that at Feed Store.

I have no idea what’s by your cows eye. We had cows when I was a kid don’t remember if we had that problem however. I love the sound hens make when contented. Not so much when they fly out the nest box.

My opinion from having our cattle, we don’t have a working shoot either!! My husband will Take tht purple spray, he feeds them and while their eating he’ll spray their eyes or pretty much anywhere they need doctoring!! We had a cow tht got a new faction in her eye she was pretty much blind in tht eye. he got close enough to spray her eye it healed up and she cud see again!! Love y’all

I don't have cows but, I do have goats & have had a couple of my goats that got ringworm - it looks like that might be what it is! It's a roundish spot without hair, as it itches & they'll rub or bite at it! My cousin did have one of his goats get it around her eyelid like that. It is contagious to the other animals & to humans! I got a spot on me before I new what it was & my doctor diagnosed it! So, I read up about it. It usually flares up in winter months, too, & will sometimes disappear when spring comes, as it did with my goats. My cousin said that he went to Walmart & picked up a ringworm medicine - I think he said it was a dusting powder so, you have to be really careful around the eyes! But, he covered the goat's eye with his hand & carefully put it on his goat & it cleared it up right away in a few days! You might want to look into that! Good luck! I enjoy your farm videos & family! It's good to see Rae & Carter joining your family! You all seem so happy!

Im Noodle -but im on my moms acct right now. I think i'd try a warm, damp rag over the area and massage it if it is a stye/clogged tear duct. It could be an abscess, which feeling it would help narrow down. Id say put some colodial silver in the eye/on the spot either way and maybe in that one's feed? Likely is the hay with the sticks tho lol

I have cows, and I don't have a chute. So I set up two panels in a "V" one side against some thing solid like your hay bales and the second i use as a squeeze. The point of the "V" is secured to a t post in the ground. Not sure what that is on her eye, as she moved to fast.
