You can just look at stats yourself on website like hsreplay, and many other sites. It let's you see winrates of decks vs other decks, and mulligan/draw winrates to help you makes these kinds of plays

Alex G.: but Trump isn't f2p... I told you what he does to get what you want and it is to be expected that an extra service costs money/time to do, so it also costs money to use. If you want to stay f2p you might try to have a look at different sites but those might not be as reliable. At the end of the day it is perfectly possible to get to legend without those stats, just observe the meta by looking at all the different decks people are experimenting with (e.g. by watching YT videos, following twitters of the most famous HS players...) and what success they have and you could figure out the optimal deck yourself. I got to legend with Malygos Druid which, at the time, was #16 tier2 deck, yet I managed to get 70+% winrate on EU, but I could never play more than 2 games with zoolock because I hate the deck. If you just do your own thing you will succeed, just like these "100% winrate" people do.

And important minions played by bigspell mage can't be killed with shooting star either way. (eg lich king,alex, Alana) That one dmg is actually crucial, having lethal at 11:56 with another ping

I do not think I have ever had such lucky turn 1 Mana Wyrm back to back in all the years I played this game since closed beta. Never. That is like over a thousand Mage games and I am certain I never drew like that back to back.

Having played a lot of Tempo Mage, I would NOT playing Shooting Star in this deck, and I would DEFINATELY play 1x Pyroblast. A lot of games, Pyroblast becomes your ONLY out, and Ive won so many games with it...so, at least replace Shooting Star with 1 Pyro, and I bet your win rate goes up..
