I agree. I also thought that's what happened. I think Ghanaian's should try as much as possible to not get caught up in these gaffe/gotcha statement games politicians like playing with each other for political gain. It's just bait to get us going around in circles bickering and not focus on building this country.

People SHOULD be aware they cannot have their cake and still eat it. Free SHS etc needs money. On one hand the opposition is telling people not to accept the E-Levy which is needed the raise the much-needed funding. A little from those who can afford to help everyone is what this is all about.

Paul, listen, am disappointed for your questions about this interview. You’re one ☝️ of the prudent presenter who normally read deeper before you come out to broadcast. I like listening to you and your comments but am somehow disappointed that you, Paul, did not read before coming out with such a report! This’s unbelievable!!!!! I trust you’re not going to do that again. Anyway, I still like your programs. Stay focused and be blessed! Cheers 🥂🍾🎷 K. Asumadu (KAS).

You said all flagship programs will be looked at. "Looked at" also means "review". Since Free SHS is part of your flagship program, we deduced it would also be "looked at" or "reviewed". Don't play semantics.

@@BrKT85 what's his point of making that assertion? He was abysmally wrong with regards to the timing and the situation. Policies aren't made arbitrary but with regards to situation and sustainability and more so the end result. I mean what the policy is intended to achieve. The policy was to increase the literacy rate to accelerate for development but your NDC wants to make them ignorant so that they can make political fools out of them at all times because they know the literates in Ghanaian society don't vote for them.
@BrKT852 жыл бұрын
@@kwasikoranteng1326 Free education was failing the moment it was implemented. There were not enough schools and teachers to tend to the amount of children who would be entering into the program. The NDC's plan was to build schools(including technical ones), train teachers and secure the perpetual funding needed to sustain the program. So that even in the event of an economic crisis, it would not be affected. Statistics show that since the implementation of Free SHS, education quality has gone done, children don't have schools to study in because Akufo Addo has not built any, the school feeding program has received many complaints from parents and school administrators. Students don't have required textbooks to read, the minister of education frequently changes curriculums and semester structure, he spent millions of dollars to reuse past exam questions, the list goes on. Even though Free SHS is struggling and in need of a review, it is the only promise Akufo has kept. Where are the other flagship programs he promised: 1D1F, 1village 1 dam, 1 constituency 1 million, 88 Hospitals, 111 hospitals, etc.
@kwasikoranteng13262 жыл бұрын
@@BrKT85 how do you rate something that’s productive a failure? What’s your criteria that accounted for your rating? All you said is just ranting and of mischief. How many buildings were built in the 8 years of NDC? Do you think building just classrooms is the way to go without science laboratories, assembly halls, recreational facilities? You sound pathetic. This kind of mentality is appalling. How many teaching and non teaching staffs did your NDC employed in 8 years. What I have against this government is their failure to procure text books and curriculum for the school but when it comes to school infrastructure your party doesn’t come near. How many factories did you build? None. Even ekumfi sugar factory that you refurbished amounted to nothing but stealing. Green bookers. Create, loot and share party.

The best disinformation person is the one speaking. 16 programs of the govt will be examined. Free SHS is flagship program this party rode on to power. Examining the 16 programs which includes Free SHS, means Free SHS in addition to the other 15 programs will be examined, reviewed, … you can use whatever adjective to describe examine to see if cuts could be made.
@dadoboye15362 жыл бұрын
Reviewing doesn’t mean cancelled or suspended. Reviewing FSHS means they could reduce the budget including salaries but not eliminate the program. This should make you happy instead of hoping the program is canceled and Ghanaian students suffer.
