Nick, you need to make the audio louder when you’re editing! I have to turn my volume up like 20% more

Sainsbury’s household gloves are great for cold weather. Flock lined and still finger dexterity .

Nick, you are a very clever lad. You are allowed to make mistakes as we all do. Don't dwell on it too much. It still made for interesting viewing.

Nice video of a real world scenario. Had something a bit similar a while back. Previous knowledge of property , left a redundent 10mm to re use at a later date for some outside power . Came back , joined onto it mid way in armoured and through wiska box all sorted . Labeled remaing cable up as not in use as customer didnt want the rest of the boards removing upstairs to remove redundant cable. Next day get a call my car charger aint working , someone inbetween had been round and used the isolated cable that was labeled up at the other end as there feed. 😂. No profit on that job 🎉

Neat job with the box on the lantern...looks the part...if I understood there was a 3 core armour going to the lantern from the house...why not make live and switch live and neutral on the cores and use the armour for earth if it tests ok for the loop impedance? I did something similar with my lantern...you can then keep the switching in the property

Yep, thinking outside the box (or the embedded pvc bedding, as it were) edit: Nvm think he said all the armoureds were 2 core :(

Sound levels a bit low on this, scared the s*** out of me when I went back to other youtube videos after having turned it up so much xD

Interesting - it sounded pretty normal on my phone (iPhone - just out the built-in speakers). Is it a YT bug, or has he reuploaded?

Much better than the Wiska 308 is the Hensel DK0202B, which you can get from Superlec. You know the problem you can have trying to get the lid of and 308? Never happens with the Hansel boxes.

A nice saying to follow :P "Rushing for repeats" < A rush job usually equates to more work or repeated work (doing things twice) In your case, you rushed to test, didn't test properly, and you're going to have to do this job again, now with more cable. At least the side wiskers are done - and just new cabling required ... but still, could have been avoided. Realistically - bar the time to test (because that is irel) - the time you have spent now and materials - then + new cable and time to lay new cable would really be the same. But at the same time, unexpected additional cost - so I'd probs knock off a bit of the total just as a me fkky discount lol But yep, stuff happens, learn and move on :) At least now you know more about them cabling that is there lol
