The Garmin R50 looks great if you have to set up and take down. No extra computer needed. From the little I know of home tee hero it is pretty basic graphics, not a lot of elevation change, etc. Is there any chance of them improving those features of home tee hero, or could the R50 work with something like GsPro without the need for an additional computer?

Love my S42 but it's my 4th one. Battery died each time 2nd and 3rd warranty replacements.

@GolfersAuthority I finally had to buy a new one they wouldn't replace my first one for a third time. So I have a brand new s42 it'll have to last me. I do play three days a week so maybe that's why it didn't last as long as it should have.

Love my S70, NO subscription needed. For R50, not in the plans this year, moving and want to make sure the next place has Sim space.

@@GolfersAuthorityno watch. You do realize there are range finders. There are markers on the course. This is not something we actually need. So many of these companies thing they are so smart with subscriptions but all they do is lose customers.

The reason to get shotscope is for the data. Garmin golf app/data is horrible. I’d actually pay the subscription if it meant better data. Garmin has good hardware.
