Keeping it real, i love to hear of the ambitions for the crib upgrade etc. If not careful these cars are a major distraction and financial drain. Down grading from the porsche and getting a weekend beater until new garage gets secured all of a sudden doesnt seem like a bad idea after hearing your plans.

Slow speed. What’s the proper warm up routine for new bmw m340? I cold start wait like 5 seconds and just put it in drive and go. But I take it light until the oil temp is up. Like I keep it under 3k rpm. Is that fine? Or should I wait till cold idle drops? Or is that a personal preference among car enthusiasts

The way youre doing it is actually Perfect, the faster you get it up to operating temps without putting load on it, the less wear happens

@@Storm2you so the cold high idle doesn’t really mean anything right? My main concern was oil pressure but it seems that engine is good to go once CEL or Oil lamp goes away which is like instantly
