These are pretty underpowered/poorly engineered, but also they're meant for more "freshly fallen" leaves and not too wet/matted down. That said, we had a 70s/80s Billy Goat that we used a lot, had a bit more suction to it, but we might've loosened up leaves with a rake or blower first.
