I have a 3ltr v6 diesel jag. Had a forced regen on that a couple of years ago and was advised to have the oil and filter changed after. Something to do with oil level becoming higher. Plus the 3ltr v6 diesel are prone to crankshaft failure.

Totally agree with what you said about thst nicholls driver,we have a short section of dual carriageway that takes us from the motorway to our yard ,then it tapers to one lane just before our slip road,so many lorry drivers that have to blast by and cut across the lanes on the roundabout just to get in front ,saw one of your lads loading out of N&P crayford last week,we go 8n there a lot,they might have told you about the dodgy bridge on the way in.

The Haldex Gen 3 are hurrendous for modulators after they moved production of them a couple of years ago they stopped galv the back panel with GEN 4 now released there is a retrofit kit coming to update a gen 3 trailer to gen 4 defintly worth looking into im waiting for the release of the kits then going to looking into retrofiting my fleet of trailers.

I bid one of them EGR filters on them Land Rovers and it came back within a month with same fault had a new DPf the second time didn’t fancy doing it again aging .like you say nice to drive bitch to work on tho never again 😢 Better off Stick to the lorry’s mate I’ve been working on cars for 40 years and the newer they are the worse they euro 6 emissions 💩
