Except that 9 year old dog is unlikely to have been named Oscar Pawastri since Oscar wasn't famous until a couple of years ago. I'm from Australia and while I don't follow karting, I had not heard of him until about 3 or 4 years ago, so it's unlikely that an American has followed Oscar's career for 9 years - still it was fun and the dog made me smile.

@@seventeendiary81 because when ANYONE makes it known how they prefer to be addressed, it's polite and respectful to follow their wishes. Daniel Ricciardo said from his first race that he strongly preferred "Daniel" and wasn't a fan of Danny or Dan - and repeated that many times over the years. (Ever noticed that Horner, Newey and Max only ever call him "Daniel"?) Oscar is Oscar. But in THIS interview, Tom seems to be trying way too hard to be chummy - and my Australian ear found it bizarre and forced. It would be like calling Nico Hulkenberg "Ni". And .... good night from Melbourne 😁

@@gaylemaree Lando gave Oscar the nickname Osc. Apparently quite a lot of people in McLaren (including Lando) call him that now. In a recent interview with Oscar and Lando, Tom discussed this with them and Oscar didn’t express any discomfort with it at all. In fact, in other interviews, where he has been asked if he has a nickname, he has even brought up ‚Osc‘ independently, and again, seemed completely fine with it. So why are you getting angry on behalf of someone else if you don’t even know if the other person is uncomfortable?
