For quite some time, I have been trying to figure out what makes a Kurt Elling concert so special....and I think I have finally discovered the answer. He holds you in the palm of his hand and mezmerizes you with his awesome vocal talent...just like 'ol blue eyes' used to do.I sat there looking at the screen on my TV listening to this track ...with my face slack jawed......How can anyone produce this kind of performance at this level time... after time... after time?. And yet he does it with seemingly little or no effort. He is truly an incredible talent. Years after we all leave this planet called Earth ...future generations will listen to performances like these and shake their heads in wonder and say "Amazing...truly Amazing!!" In the meantime time we can listen and watch him do his thing in real time...... and enjoy!!!!!
