TCG Pocket provides a free alternative to those who love opening card packs. There's beauty in both digital and physical cards. We are ONE pokemon community, let's respect each other's preferences. The last thing we need is for other people to see the community divided into two groups.

the texture of real hits that have those cool grooves or waves on them are also unbeatable in tcgp love the immersive cards but cant beat the texture, they both have super cool parts for different reasons

Nah to me, Astral Radiance won. You pulled two Rainbows, a couple full arts and non texture TG, as well as an Alt Art and ALL THREE OF THE GALARIAN LEGENDARY BIRDS IN THEIR TEXTURE TG CARDS. Insane, both boxes were good but the first one was ABSOLUTELY STACKED with THREE TEXTURED TGs. Crazy there for those BB of Astral.

I think physical Pokémon cards are cooler and more valuable to collect but I also like how TCG Pocket can be played 100% for free. It also gets more people into playing the game (me for example) since the battles in Pocket are faster and easier to understand.

The reason TCG Pocket packs are so much cheaper is that they only have to design and code each card into the game once. It's all just colored pixels and code making it run smoothly, there is no real value to rarity within the game, only made up values by Nintendo themselves. Real life cards, one, cost resources and energy to create beyond imagination, and two, they stop being printed after so long thus making them legitimately limited in amount and when wanted by many people, a genuinely valuable item.

Just so people know, Crown Rare cards can be found in any one of the decks associated to their groups, so you can pull a Crown Rare Palkia from a Dialga pack, an you could pull a Crown Rare Mewtwo from a Pikachu in Genetic Apex. The Crown Rares are not loyal to their actual deck, just the group number they are in (A1, A1a, A2, and so on). I pulled TWO Crown Rare Palkia, and one of them came from Dialga.

To each their own. Physical assets risk being damaged. Some prefer digital cards as there's no need to "store" the cards. You won't "lose" the cards either since they are tied to an account.

The thing is that $500 of packs in real life should be when the Booster Box is max worth $100, not only two Astral Radiance Booster Boxes, it should have been 5 of them. (I know they are expensive but that just makes it worse for the real cards, do you get why I say that it should be five real booster boxes instead of two?)

Hey mystic I know you find it really cool that they put in the pull rates for the cards in pokémon Pocket. The reason they do that is because they have to It is considered a gambling mobile game and if they don't put the percentages you have at pulling something then they could get in a lot of trouble because after all they're selling casinos to kids nowadays

Having just started am i the only one that thinks its super unfair to compare these as a "pocket versus real" thing? Like astral radience is older now and considerably pricier than many newer setsa and it has generally more tame hits. If its important to have dialga and palkia in both, could have at least gone with crown zenith which is a better set lol At this point dude might as well have bought 10 phantom forces packs "cause its comparable" Like dude could have opened twice as many packs with a different set.
