Most collectors are saying that because the hit rates are awful this set sucks, but as a competitive player AND a collector I'm kind of excited for this set! Lots of cards to shake up the meta and if you hit a top card, you'll HIT REAL GOOD because of how hard it is to get them. Maybe I like this set from my competitive side much more, but still some really cool artworks to generally enjoy. Edit: I just think that SIR's could be more cherished if it was harder to get, sure huge hit rates are cool like at the beginning of gen 9 but it kind of ruins the value tbh

Twilight Masquerade and Stellar Crown shake up the meta more. Imo the sir's are lackluster. Personally, however, I'm excited for this set as it makes my Charizard ex deck much better.

@@munigarg3771 still, it's leaving a pretty decent impact on decks as a whole, since charizard is back at the top and some dead archetypes are getting huge upgrades and coming back (example, regidrago, united wings, etc.) Overall, while not being huge, it is a special set and it wasn't bound to be a huge change.

I enjoyed ripping SF. Opened about 90 pks, and hit every top 12 valuable card not named Cassiopeia & the creepy pink gloomybear. The set is very small, but fairly easy to pull IR's/SIR's for me from day 1 release. There's not much for me to chase now, amd it's not worth chasing 2 cards, lol. But overall, it's been fun and i love the art.

So in a 99 card set you pulled 4 secret rares and the top 5 cards are worth a total of like $225 USD or $340 AUD on the market currently and 500 packs of shrouded fable would cost you around $2952 USD or $4345 AUD in ETBs...
