I think this season was the best one so far for nms cause I got a free d rob, mutombo, and Wagner, plus I was able to get some pretty solid cards for pretty cheap on the auction house

Season 3 was a disgusting money grab with zero content outside of spending on packs. No real incentives to play the game and the best cards gatekept behind paywalls. The winter event was pretty cool for nms or small spenders but still unachievable cards locked behind paywalls in the event. Would love to see good cards be added back to showdown winstreaks or something. It’s kind of disgusting the amount of rng attached to everything in the game with the hidden gems packs and lock ins. Just promotes gambling and ripping packs

Literally every single “reward” in the game is rng based. Win 120 games in showdown congrats you get an RNG hidden gems pack, win park games get rng packs, win salary cap get rng packs. The entire design of the game is built to create gambling addicts.

Season 3 was a 2k money grab killing myteam in the process... we went from 3 months of grinding for some diamond players to unlimited galaxy opals for anyone willing to spend money overnight... most diamonds and pink diamonds became worthless overnight... they should've slowly released cards above pink diamond like 5 new galaxy opals with each weekly new set.. by simply replacing the 5 pink diamonds for galaxy opals for each new set would've prevented this... they made it perfectly clear you have to pay to win unless you're me... ive only spent $60 (HOF Pass for all 3 seasons) so far... I went from having 3 Diamonds, 1 Amethyst & David Robinson as my starting 5 to a couple days later having: PG: Penny (98 ovr) SG: Jordan (99 ovr) SF: LeBron (98 ovr) PF: Amare Stoudamire (98 ovr) C: David Robinson (98 ovr) -I exchanged a pink diamond snowman for a Tis of the Season Deluxe Pack & Pulled a Galaxy Opal LeBron James -I Exchanged 2 Galaxy Opal Snowmen for a 97+ Hidden Gems which was the Galaxy Opal Amare Stoudamire.. -Then I Exchanged 2 Pink Diamond Snowmen for a 10 Pack Box of Tis of the Season which resulted in pulling the Dark Matter Michael Jordan... -I posted videos of the exchanges & pulling the LeBron and Jordan By sure luck I Exchanged 3 Pink Diamond Snowmen for the Dark Matter Michael Jordan & Galaxy Opal LeBron James.. If I didn't get so damn lucky (i had less than a 1% chance to get either LeBron or Jordan yet got both somehow) I'd be screwed.. I sold most of my pink diamonds and diamonds while they had some value to buy the Penny Hardaway.. Why did it go from having to win 33 Domination games for a Draymond Green Pink Diamond to such an abundance of Galaxy opals??
