Day 7 of commenting every day until you hire me Edit: After finishing this video I went looking for the game, It's Pawn Simulator not Pawn Shop Simulator as Josh suggests for anyone else looking. Pawn Shop Simulator tanked hard but this has a small stable dev team who I'm sure can keep this game great without complicating things, really looking forward to full release on this one.

10:55 it's a distance thing, so if you walk up to the roof the light should update when you're close enough. I think it's 'simulating' reach length lol Basically it's shooting a line out and checking if it hit anything, if it did that's where the light will be, otherwise the light won't move because there's nothing for the line to hit, it'd just hover mid-air. If I am wrong it's just a terrible game.
