Most people care to have the card in English regardless. Japanese set might be worth a bit more, but I don't see it getting that far ahead of English

I think Golem, Arcanine, Rhydon, Gyarados, deserved some cool art cards, they're top tier of 1st gen, and we could've used a card of and eeveelution, or even Eevee like the Zapdos EX SR, with all the other eveelutions, they just lose a huge chance.

Yeah I'm sad about the pokeball/masterball reverses, mostly cause the English reverses just aren't as good/shiny foil of reverses and are just basically really similar for every set. That said, it will at least mean those reverses will retain a lot of value in the Japanese set.

Honestly I feel the blastoise is lacking. It’s just him with blue deep ocean around him. I guess it gets the point across with him being in deep ocean but to me it’s lacking some kind of background to have it pop more, like maybe have a coral ref around in the background?!?! Idk just how I feel. I’d still be happy to pull it don’t get me wrong. Just seems like it’s lacking a little bit.
