Just love your reviews…especially with Filipino food. The rolling eyes, the way you chew your food, nodding your head and gravy drippings from your mouth is something else! I’m a Filipino born in Hawaii and now living in Vegas. You talk about loco moco, adobo fried rice, pineapple punch and the aloha burger brings me back home. Fortunately we have at least 3 Jollibee locations. I stopped eating chicken about 4 years ago and dang you make me feel like jumping through the screen and chomping on it. I’m just thankful that I learned from my mom how to cook some Filipino dishes. I can eat it all year long. Try to review the Jollibee commercials. Most are based on true stories and it’s like a mini movie. Crazy good and touching, bring a tissue to wipe😢

I love that you don't have taste buds of a 5 year old and how genuine you are with your reviews. He straight up does things only Filipinos do, eats chicken with the gravy rice/adobo rice , and literally ate rice with just gravy 😂, Filipino Spaghetti isn't for everyone but your analogy on why you love it and calling it ghetto spaghetti really shows how you want to tell everyone it hits home. Jollibee is definitely flavortown and you know it.

It's amazing how Jollibee has Pancit Palabok because it's a noodle dish that is quite complicated to make because of all the ingredients that goes into it. I remember asking my grandma to make it for my birthday and my mom vehemently refused because it takes so long to make so she just said to make spaghetti which I am okay with as well. But yeah, Palabok hits different. I'm glad you genuinely love the taste of it. Thank you for appreciating our dishes!

Jollibee fast food chains are located in every single corner you could possibly think of here in the Philippines. You can never underestimate their power and impact on its customers, whether local or foreign. We’ve been on so many road-trips, and most of the time we’d make a quick stop and order something from Jollibee. It’s just convenient for us, really. And we’re all fans of fried chicken and stuff, so I guess it’s really not that surprising. You’re one of the best food reviewers I’ve encountered. Filipino spaghetti is made from banana ketchup instead of tomatoes that's why it's sweet. During ww2 Americans brought tomatoes ketchup into The Philippines but when they left tomatoes aren't available back then but there's an abundance of bananas so Filipinos made their own version of ketchup.

I put condensed milk in mine with the banana ketchup also which makes it sweet, that's how my step mom showed me how ta make it. She's Filipino.
@stanberry40002 жыл бұрын
We only put it to taste it like so, to compliment the tomato sauce we're putting in. It's not entirely made up of banana ketchup or else it would taste so weird. I should know coz that's the kind of spaghetti being sold in cheap Carinderia or by side walk vendors and that's what they use. To properly cook Filipino Style, you have to put regular tomato sauce , tomato paste, and banana ketchup. Or there are already Del.Monte Sweet Filipino style tomato sauce available so we won't have to buy ketchup to save some cost.

calamansi is like a Key Lime..very tart with a lot of seeds in it..I am Filipino and I love to cook.. I make chicken adobo wings.. I marinate it and deep fry the wings in peanut oil... I take the marinade and fresh jalapeno reduce the sauce into a sticky syrup sauce.. then I toss the wings in the sauce and sprinkle green onions and fresh lemon juice on top.. Adobo is a long process because it helps preserve the meat.. many people in the Philippines can 't afford a fridge. so Making adobo is pickling the meat..it will last for a few days without spoiling..they use soy sauce, vinegar mostly cane sugar or regular vinegar , fresh garlic, bay leaves and peppercorns .. some add sugar but I use white onions it caramelizes in the sauce which makes it sweet along with the garlic..We also make TURON which is a banana eggroll or Banana Que , which are grilled with sugar on it.. they use the green banana it is different than a regular banana .. trust me you would rather eat that banana langka pie instead of BALUT..LOLOL

so far this is the best Jollibee food review that I have watched...spicy Chickenjoy with Jolly spaghetti is my ultimate comfort food 💖💖💖 thank you for appreciating our cuisine!

bruh, im Filipino and hearing you call Jollibee spaghetti "ghetto spaghetti" made me laugh😂. mix it or not, its enjoyable as it is, and i am glad you enjoyed it. also mixing the gravy with the rice is the optimal way its like goddamn soup for the rice.👌

Growing up the go to meal was Kraft Mac & Cheese and 1lb of burger with garlic powder. Hits diffy every time. You should do a video of making all of your favorite childhood meals!

I think you would love the choco mallow pie although I don't think it's available there. It's a chocolate and marshmallow pie. Overflowing sweetness!
