no, I actually don't think so. Instead I think it is alternate world, with similar characters, like the characters appearing in different games of Hoyoverse. Reason: you look at Kal'sit in the trailer, i.e in 1:12. She is bright and happy. No, no fking way Kal'sit can be bright and happy if she is from Arknights world, unless that's before the disaster happens and she wasn't made an immortal yet. Time wears people, no matter how happy you are. If so then it's just better to make a different world instead, thousands of years apart should have no relation with each others.

it's always funny seeing some ppl dissapointed with the "gameplay" (by their dictionary gameplay means action only) and want it somethinh like WW or else, when Endfield never introduced itself as action game, always strategy. i mean fck, dime a dozens anime 3D game is an action, why tf should AK fit into it too? focus on the majestic base building, i wouldn't trade that with anything else

@@niezwyciezonyzwyciezca7020 i wouldn't say as far that WW is genshin but their gameplay atleast is much harder, other than tho it's just genshin but more bleak. Endfield got base building, differing action gameplay and focus, far apart environment aesthetics aswell as architecture, the texture is also far different. but i must say still most of char we have so far in Endfield are just a walmart version of og AK not just chen. muted design with no identity, no insignia no uniform no utilitarian techware. i hope it improves a lot

@@hermanwillem7057 Actually, what I meant was that Kuro Games sticks to some elements of WW, for example artifacts and the world, which has recently been changed to be more colorful and honestly I didn't like it. I think PGR fans wanted WW to be an open-world PGR, but it looks like, at least for now, that won't be the case.

The guardknights is real. Assuming we're going with the same classes as Arknights, there are 8 different classes, but out of 5 characters we see in the gameplay trailer, 3 of them are guards, one is a caster, and one is unknown.

The greyscale parts with patriot and the RI landship exploding out of the tower of babel (wink wink) are maybe a dream sequence/jumbled memories of the Doctor's. I don't think its the same doctor but maybe they are downloading their memories into a android body or something?

No RES mainstat probably has to do with the differing elements i.e. Endmin and Perlica being lightning, Wulfgard being fire, Chen Qianyu and the defender guy being physical(I assume, Chen's skill damage is white like the other guards' auto-attacks), so there'd might be different RES substats for each element.

kinda annoyed it has a weapon system similar to hoyoverse games since one of the main things that really made arknighst great was that once u got ur operator u got ur operator unlike having to roll in gacha for another weapon to make the character usable. The main appeal of Ak is that its hella f2p friendly and overall enjoyable for both p2p and f2p but if they thread towards the hoyoverse trail I highly doubt that it would get the traction like Ak did.

I feel like the real sin that genshin commits is how constellations of characters often add so much to their gameplay, to the point where characters can feel incomplete without their constellation, whereas you don't need pots for arknights chars. Weapons can be a big increase for some characters, but oftentimes its just a 10%-20% damage increase from the best f2p 4 star weapon.

I think the part where you talk about what we are trying to do in this game is probably the reason I can't find myself very hyped about it yet. They've shown off some nice things, but nothing really that intrigues me on a gameplay-level that makes me want to play it right now. Beating up random goons standing around aimlessly that might as well be punching bags, or placing power poles in the open world isn't looking very exciting.

artsyle definitely changed, there are younger versions of Kal'tsit for one, hope they add more mature characters similar to... well kal'tsit and others like SilverDaddy, Hellagod, Mountain, Rangers and Humus just to name a few. EDIT: That's definitely Patriot, maybe this is set in the far future, where Reunion left an indelible mark even if they were eventually wiped out, followers die, ideologies persist.

Odds are it will release on consoles so you could probably play it on a Series S for like 200 bucks. Even if it'd obviously be more fun on a more juiced PC

I find it hilarious that people get hyped about this game, to me, we have nearly no information what the gameplay actually is. The base building and gathering stuff in the world looks super boring and the crafting menu looks super bloated and very similar to reclamation algorithm, which had some very cool ideas, but was also severely undercooked. Before we actually know what the gameplay actually feels like every hype feels completely overblown.
