I Overclocked a $100 AliExpress GPU Until I Got 1000 FPS

Today I’m overclocking a $100 GPU from AliExpress until I get 1000 FPS. AliExpress is a Chinese online shop where you can buy just about anything, so I thought it would be a great place to find a budget GPU. My goal was to push this graphics card to its limits and get 1000 FPS in Fortnite, and 60 FPS in Black Myth Wukong on high settings. Will it perform as advertised, or would I end up getting scammed? Let's turn this $100 investment into a monster GPU by overclocking.

If you know how to shop on AE, it's pretty reliable. I'd not really recommend buying any tech from there unless you're really in need for money, since the prices are rarely better. Great for really niche parts and bootleg stuff lol.

btw the so called 16 pin connector in the 8 pin slot isnt going to blow up anything bro, that one cable... its just two 8 pin connectors that can be used daisy chained on 1 gpu. but even then some people dont use both of those 8 pin connectors but they use one of em and they use a seperate 8 pin cable together so that the gpu isnt pulling power off of 1 rail.

Asus and other companies don’t make graphics cards. They only design the cooler. The actual PCB is bought directly from Nvidia and they build the chassis and sell it from there.

I live in canada as well and have been ordering a LOT from aliexpress (since 2017) without any issues - from cheap repro car parts, electronic parts, clothing and yes even large item computer parts. As long as you know what youre buying and expecting, then the likelihood of being scammed is small. My previous order was last month (sept) for 12 items worth a few hundred $ and everything arrived in under 2 weeks.

This is not a 16 pin connecter, Its a 8 to 8 splitter so it still only has the power of a 8pin, For your original GPU id recommend getting 2 8 to 8 pins to get sufficient stable power
