Time for the reality check on this caller. You and the baby daddy are in no position financially or mentally to raise a child. Give the kid up for adoption and get your life in order first. No reason to bring a kid into your disaster of a situation. From the sound of it the are many years away from a stable life on their own.

@@saulgoodman2018 this is a false belief. Many i know can make over 40k without. I'm not against educating & learning skills. But that doesnt pay present bills. And he has a little one on the way. It'd benefit all three for him to improve job now & not wait til child is already born. So a better paying job now til emt position is able to be taken up would be wise. Even if it's $2 more/hr is still more than he's able to bring home now. Not sure why some1 would be against that. ?

I just financed my first car (brand new, ordered) almost a year ago at 23 years old. I got a 72 month loan at 3.9% interest (they offered the 60 month loan at 2.9% but I chose the longer loan for lower payments despite the interest) and I thought that interest was high. I can’t even fathom paying double digit interest on an auto loan.
@legendstrength2 жыл бұрын
An easy realization would be, 3.9% on 20k is about $2 a day in interest, a 25% on 20k is about $15 a day in interest. $60/month vs $450/month it’s insane

Recommending a 1500 car is a weird proposition for someone with no money. Where would they get money from to pay for repairs? What would they do when the car is sitting in the shop? Pay for uber to go to work? I think one would be better off buying a car for 5k, even if that means financing the other 3.5k.

It’s not a lot of children from married families have a twisted concept of love because when couples are forced to stay together because they have to it screws up a child father being unmarried if they’re unhappy they can leave and if they’re grown up enough won’t take it out on the child and focus on them and themselves

I've seen a lot of people buy cars they can't afford either because they want to look wealthy driving a newer car or because they don't understand the cost of keeping that car. I've been an automotive technician for years and I daily drive a 92 Acura Integra for a reason. I saw a guy drop off a V12 Mercedes Benz at the shop I used to work at and he never picked up the car because he didn't have the money to pay for the services performed.

This is what happens when kids have kids. No 21 year old should be having a child in this day and age. Especially, not one that makes decisions like a 26% interest rate on a car note. Gimme a break. Also, that boyfriend doesn't care because he's too young to care for it. She's simply another girl for him at the moment. The same goes for her. That's why she didn't even mention him until Dave asked. I wouldn't be surprised if they break up in a couple of months. What a mess!
