I Paid £700($900) For A MYSTERY Airsoft Collection

I recently picked up this entire Airsoft collection from a guy that quit Airsoft 3 years ago. This entire load out had been sitting unused gathering dust.
I took a gamble and offered £700 (appx $900) for it, he accepted and it was delivered to my house. Watch me go through the mystery collection to see if I got a bargain, or thrown my money down the drain.

The reason TRMR stopped being made was their US marketing got a bit mouthy about the mag flash variant and claimed they were as good as legit flashbang vs a training tool and got the TRMR reclassified as a flashbang and killed the US market so the brand went byebye. I'd be interested in the Dan Wesson shells.

The only thing that confuses me is the mesh goggles. As those are a huge no-no in the US. Goggles here have to be ANSI Z78.1 certified (Rated to protect from basic impact and penetration tests) and beyond, and most fields here also require a full seal on the inside of your goggles to prevent bb's from slipping in at awkward angles.

Iirc - the UK allows mesh because their guns don’t shoot over a set number of FPS.

@@adamevans4539 Its irrelevant what velocity bb's fly. Of course higher speeds increase splitting possibility but you only need one kid running crappiest of recycled scrap bb's to blow someones eyes out and even more so with that stamped sheet mesh. I have seen 1joule bb go trough one them, witch after no one used or was allowed to use them on our field.

@@adamevans4539 Yea no, even if it was .5 Joule, I still wouldn't wear mesh goggles, that in my eyes (no pun intended) is looking for trouble. I personally think UK fields should learn something from the US and enforce the use of full seal goggles with whatever rating is equivalent to our ANSI Z87.1 over here in the States. You can walk on a wooden leg, but can't see through a glass eye.

I would say the previous owner very possibly served. The shemagh was issued circa Herrick (replaced with desert colour later), The belts were standard issue. The drop-leg Glock holster 'could' be issued as it looks the same as the issued holster had no branding. There was one or two other bits that reeked of squaddie too. Great swag dude!

Quite the haul. I personally don't like the SRS Snipers. While not a sniper to begin with, I can only imagine how annoying it is to cock the lever back on those. I love my CYMA MP5, it has the metal top and plastic bottom, the best style since it makes disassembly similar to an M4. Being from across the pond I'm more partial to my High Capa(not speed soft jank) or the M92 I have. I actually been considering some kind of "Wood" finished spring sniper for my Primary for my LARPSoft, I'm in a Wasteland LARP group and a bolt action rifle makes more since than an M4 or AK, when you're a scavenger. I do however have an M1A(M14) that I built up for my Larp gear. Along side the M92(PT99) for a secondary.

If you get a chans to try a SRS out on a field please do. They are not as bad as you think. The only thing that will feel weird is the mag change. But all Bullpup guns will feel like that.

I bought a TM Mk.23 as a kid because of Metal Gear Solid, before the VCRB happened, never airsofted in my life and then was just left with this super realistic imitation gun that I didn't know how to get rid of. Met one of my partner's cousins at a funeral, he mentioned he's into airsoft and right when he was about to explain what it was to me I said "hey, I've got a Tokyo Marui Mk.23 with all the bits and two mags you can have!", needless to say he snapped my hand clean off.

I think all this stuff together is worth more than 900$..i think it's around 2000$ for everything.. Maybe even more.. I don't know much about airsoft and this stuff but i know that there are a lot of people who are very fanatic of this stuff and pay a lot for such equipment

6:40 Its stamped mesh so should not be used in any case as eye protection. Could use it as face shield but not for yes and in general mesh while does not fog has potential for bb's to splinter and go trough the mesh. 23:20 Yeah could be... or you have to dig trough the trashcan... when you get load like this, you will NEVER take the trashbag and just dump everything in there. You take the empty box and dump it there to recheck for parts and accessories. For paper work same thing, you never throw that away just like that but put it on the side for later recheck for say check for when bought and what parts were purchased to get idea what could be inside the gun with out opening it. "Eotech does not work" duh, if it has been sitting for several years it probably has drained the batteries or if owner was smart they took the batteries out of it. Excellent load and well worth the money. Too bad the new owner is moron going trough all this.

check the internal resistance of the LiPos to see if they are reusable. You can usually check them with LiPo chargers that have that function

i think i have an answer for why all the bb bottles are open, i belive that they are refills from a bag of bb's it's more convinient to have them in bottles then having the bag burst open so yeah that may be why all the bottles are open. i do this myself as well i buy a big bag of bb's then put them inside recicled bottles.

Mag springs dont go bad from leaving ammo in them, or BBs in this case, what wears a spring out is repetition, so constant loading and unloading.

Be careful, older warrior pistol holsters have an issue with the release where it can knock the mag out. This was fixed a few years ago, but if this has been in storage for a few years you might be endangering your mags. You can actually fix the issue with a 3d printed part.

BBs are BBs.... they are made in injection molding machines where the plastic is shot into a tiny molds under extremely high pressure and heats.... any moisture was already taken out of the plastic if its a high value BB. the plastic material quite literally goes through a dryer made specifically for injection molding plastic material. so even after a decade as long as they are stored in dark places out of sunlight the plastic will hold the same grade.

Not if you have a "defence", i.e. a reason to own one. Usually a membership at a field is valid enough, as they tend to come with a UKARA membership too.

I have got the real wood version of the rifle at 11:10 but cannot find the original mags anywhere online (all out of stock) I lost my mags some tome back and have been unable to find replacements. That actuall guns mags differ to simular looking VSR mags and most won't work in that particular model.... I might be 7 months too late but if you want to sell the mags I'd deffo buy them off you

Hard to see from the video but the glock appears to be the kwa/KSC type . Very old system now and not compatible with TM . The hop and mag design would give it away but I couldn't see either
