The eye look you created is beautiful. Glamlite would have done this so much better. For those wanting a blood red lip, their Ghost Face Blood Lip Kit is phenomenal. Glamlite is also inclusive whereas ColourPop struggles. I would love creators to draw attention to how companies like ColourPop don't do true skin swatches. For the Twilight palette it's just boxes cut and paste on different skin tones which we all know isn't how skin works and I just think that's not only misleading but offensive.

I read the books and watched the movies and I never got hooked but I LOVE this color story. I think the colors look like the movie and as someone who lives in NW WA, the colors in this palette are exactly what it looks like here in the winter when it’s overcast and rainy.

The way that when CP did the video describing how the color story of this palette was heavily focused/inspired on the 1st movie, really makes me feel that they are going to do a palette for each book/movie. I also think that, even though people were wanting different lippies, I personally feel like the lip oils were a really great choice, cause of course after seeing the launch, I went back and watched the 1st movie, and if you look at almost all of the people in the movie, nobody has any bold makeup on, not even a bold lip, you only see that at the very end of the movie when they were at the prom. But for the most part, the makeup looks were very minimal. I love the look of the collection, and I was on the site at 1230, even with all the hate comments, I wanted to make sure I got the items I wanted. I got the palette,both SS highlighters & the lip oil set. Only to finish checking out, and see everyone freaking out that it was sold out. My check out was smooth and had no issue, I felt bad for the people who did, but I'm glad I got my stuff. But I really do think they are going to do more from the other movies, just like they did with the Star wars collection & palettes.

Allie I love Twilight, the book, the movie, all of it! And honestly, after my initial disappointment with the depth of color (since I am a dark skinned Black person), I thought the color story of the palette was a perfect representation of the movie. It is Forks personified in my opinion. But since I can’t use it and couldn’t get it, could you recommend alternatives for deeper skin?! Especially the highlighters?

I'm pretty sure the color story is supposed to be reminiscent of the blue green filter that's on the whole first movie. I can't remember if they used the filter in the rest of the movies or not, but definitely the first one.

I have seen the twilight series once, did a binge during lockdown just to see what all the craze was about back in the day. The palette totally fits the vibe of first movie to me. It was all filmed in a blue/green muted way with those being the main colors for entire film. I am sure they will totally do the rest of the movies too, they probably would have had a different color story if they weren’t. Later on will have the deeper colors for the feel of the coven etc. I don’t know if glamlite would have done a great job tbh, their palettes seem to skew much darker.

So I missed colourpops launch time but I remembered Ultas midnight drop of Colourpops Alice and Wonderland collab so... Seeing how fast the Twilight collection sold out on Colourpop I was ready. Their lip mask from the Alice and Wonderland collection sold out fast af too. I had the full Twilight collection in my bag and upon checkout it disappeared. I was checking out no later then 12:01.... So I quickly went back and tried to pick up each item individually. Everything disappeared but the pallet and highlighters. Seeing reviews now I'm glad that's all I got. The liners and lip oils look sub par.😢

I completely see Twilight in this collection. The hues of the B-movie, Twilight, (I'm a fan, so I say this with love), fit the collection. If they do other collections with the other movies, where the colors are vibrant, then I would expect more color. Also, I live close to Forks and know the area well. The green from the trees and blues from the water and sky are very similar, especially in the late Fall through late Winter.

I was super into twilight and i am not mad at this palette. I feel like it represents Forks and how Bella felt moving there initially… how depressing it was compared to Phoenix… but I only feel that way if there are evolutions as the story evolves. I would love New Moon to represent the depression and recklessness with Jacob and the intro to the Vulturi. I am also not as much a fan of the movies as the book.

unearthly cosmetics twilight highlighter was what colourpop should’ve done!! true skin of a killer 😂. i was also disappointed in the color story because although the movie did have the blue filter it did also have pops of color! the golden onion, amber eyes, bella’s truck, the worm scene, her bowling shirt, the berry cobbler from the restaurant scene could’ve been made a color, the mushroom ravioli, Bella’s blanket, la push, the prom dress shopping scene, the vampires red eyes, the book she goes to buy, ugh the color possibilities were there but anyway, of course i was still gonna get the palette 😅

I didn’t see twilight either with this palette. Where’s the vibrant colors of the Pacific NW? Where’s the reds? Where’s the amber for the Cullen’s eyes? Lapush? Port Angeles? And I remember when the movie came out and everyone knew the meadow scene just wasn’t what it was described in the book. I was just so disappointed

I’ve been patiently waiting for this video Allie! I’m still a little bit bitter about Colourpop not sending you the entire collection in PR! I was watching someone else the other day and they did the same thing you did. They contacted whoever does the PR with content creators and she asked for it to be sent to her (if available) she was super nice about it but they sent her the entire collection. When are Brands going to back off sending every single launch to these creators who have millions of followers, they show it in a PR haul, promise to make a video and the video never comes or they open it up in a PR video and say….I’m not a big fan of Colourpop and they put it into a giveaway! It’s like how Natasha Denona gave my favorite content creators “discount codes” but they don’t receive PR? Big brands, Small brands and everyone in the middle should pay attention to who’s actually using their products! Anyway that was my little rant! I just don’t feel like it’s right. Hi Allie! OMG 😳😱 I absolutely love these movies 🥰 Edward was my favorite.. 😂 I loved that song too.. A friend of mine that I worked with back then was reading the book, and she was so into it like you said you were and I didn't read back then, so then they brought the movie and I borrowed it from my cousin and me and my son watched it over and over 😂 Then I ended up getting them all when they came out 😂 I even got a cloth poster of Bella and Edward with one of the movies 😂 I think the reason for the meadow highlighter is from where it shows them laying in the meadow with all the purple flowers, which I can't remember what they are called 😂 But the other one Vampire Skin, yeah it could've had a little more in it, cause she said in the movie, Edwards skin was like glass 😂 As far as the palette, especially cause I didn't read the book and just saw the movie, I think it does scream Twilight.. Cause Edwards eyes were brown, and goldish some times, when wasn't in vampire mode with the red eyes.. Bella had green eyes.. I think Jacob had brown eyes too.. Everything always had a bluish tone to it, not only did both of them wear a blue jacket, but her prom dress was bluish purplish too.. And of course Edward had a bluish grayish color to him.. As for the lip oils, I don't wear lip products, but I completely agree with you.. They should have been a regular lipstick.. A blood red cause think about it, all the vampire women wore a red lipstick and then Bella did after she was changed.. The bluish for the color of the vampires, and the black is where where the werewolfs wear black all the especially after becoming one.. I love the packaging though like you said, it's beautiful and matches with the movie perfect too.. But I also know that books give way more details than a movie ever will too.. And by some of the things you mentioned it sounds like the colors are way off, but like I said, that's just my guessing, which looks like that's what they done too ya know.. I would actually love to see what your version of the color story and shades would look like.. Especially by you reading the book.. Right before I just watched this video, I saw a short advertising about will there be more of Edward and Bella.. And it has him and her, with I'm assuming their daughter and another younger little girl between 4 and 7 and a boy looks like he's between 10 and 12, maybe their grandkids 🤷🏼‍♀️ But it didn't show Jacob with them.. So we might be getting a new Twilight movie with either them having 2 more kids or having grandkids 🤷🏼‍♀️ But I thought that was crazy, after watching it, then I saw your video 😂😂 I think Glamlite would have went above and beyond with this too to be honest.. This eyeshadow look truly compliments you. Love the pop of blue. I'm bummed. Where is the burnt orange for her truck, deep browns, icy toppers. I wanted so much more from this. Those books were my life. I normally love supershock highlighters, but that one does have a terrible gray cast. It's not just on you. Everybody I've seen review it have the same issues. It looks like it is sitting on top of the skin instead of melting in. They could've done a pretty blood red matte lip with a gloss. Hopefully they decide to branch out and do the other movies too.

The graphic liner swatches looked rough and the highlighters looked thick in a bad way. The Fenty diamond bomb formula would have been better in my opinion. The palette colors are perfect for me though.

I get it. I see how the palette goes with the picture in the palette, but I don't get twilight vibes. I was disappointed with this collection. If they do one for every book, maybe.
