His huge following made it possible to get a lot more. People just love stories. So, $50 wasn't a bad offer based on the expected return and being "a celeb" gave him a huge bonus.

We didn't have to take a sledge hammer to the toilet, but we did have to pull the toilet out, tip the toilet just the right way to retrieve it...and all that was at a New Year's Eve party! Things just fall in sometimes. Once my toilet was blocked and so got the landlord to hire a guy who ended up digging up our back garden because it was the pipe that was blocked and eventually got it sorted and it was a perfume bottle that had been flushed.

I bought a subwoofer from the local pawn shop like 8 years ago for my new car at the time. The wires on the back were all twisted up and whatnot. Well I installed all of my new system. Sub wasnt working, couldnt figure out why. Brought it back in and asked if he could attach it to his tester to make sure it worked before I wasted more time. It did work. But then he starts complaining saying how he should be charging me $20 for wasting HIS time. As if attaching 2 wires and flicking a switch is a ton of work. And here you are, giving people $100 more than they ask for things. It was the ground btw. For some bizarre reason one of the seatbelt bolts wouldnt work as a ground. Never could figure that one out...

I once busted a toilet from a renter house and found a match box car in there. After that, a plumber told me whatever is wedged in that trap WILL come out. He said to turn the bowl upside down like you did and run the snake from the bottom. If that doesn't work use lots of water or air.
