I couldn't help it I had to buy 2 style bundles and see how close they could get to my soft grunge/90s pinterest board. I'm just gonna spoil it, they nailed it and there is literally nothing more fun than opening a box of surprise clothes. I am now a full blown addict.

Some actual 90s looks, I used to wear large leg red plaid pants and a slightly cropped red camo sweater together, I could see the pinstripe shirt with a cropped sweater / with tights. Long skirts with heavy boots was a pretty standard alternative 90s look. Where I lived, grunge and goth overlapped.

The long skirt with the weird pattern. I think if you paired it with a sweater or a crop top with chunky boots. One of those shirts that they use to fold so alittle is coming out of the side that'd look super cute. Definitely a sweater that either you can fold in or a sweater that is thick and doesn't come all the way down. Possibly thick black gloves grunge style and then whatever jewelry.

You can always add a belt if the dress is not as fitted as you’d like. Also if you can I’d recommend hand sewing down the sides just a little if you want a fitted look. It’s a super easy and quick fix and if you put on weight in the future it’s easy to unpick (from personal experience). You could also crop the length of the dress and use the fabric you removed to make it shorter as a matching belt!!!! You don’t need a sewing machine and You’d probably have enough fabric left to sew on belt loops as well. Don’t be intimidated if you aren’t used to sewing either - for this kind of grunge style handmade or distressed and imperfect sewing jobs actually work better for the style. I’m an intermediate sewer but cropping things to make belts is so easy it’s an hour long project at most for the belt and hem. It’s just a straight sew the whole way along the belt and the bottom and there are so many easy tutorials online in 5 minutes. Plus sewing whilst watching a comfort Netflix series is soooooo relaxing and rewarding 😊 Also those sunnies looked absolutely INCREDIBLE on you ❤

I think bundle 2 had more winning pieces that could be combined. but bundle 1 had some key plaid pieces that will also go great with the basics you received. I think there were a lot of winners here and you looked super cute. The glittery cow print sweater could also work but it looked better when you slightly pinched it up at the sides. Great looks though, some of them you looked like you were a straight outta da 90s picture, loved this haul for you!

That plaid dress and black lace sent me back to my teens lol. Try Wearing the striped pilgrim button-up with tights and docs. I also, tiny dresses and white button-ups were our layers. Trust me, as an actual petite grunge kid from the 90s - I stopped on the video because you reminded me of me when I was younger - I lived in a Madonna video of styles. That said, you have to have long skirts to wear with your Chelsea or combat boots and band tees. The button ups were worn as dresses with black tights or fishnets; usually no bottoms, they were dresses. if we wore bottoms they were cut-offs. Then we’d tie the top up. The more oversized, the more it bloused out. We’d wear them as skirts Vivienne Westwoodstyle. Seriously, a black tutu as a petticoat and then button the shirts together over it. Boom, you have a new skirt. I would have killed for that plaid skirt and lived in my long black skirt from Express (Express was v different back then, very emo French girl smoking cloves and reading Sartre.) Granted I had an Annie Hall style for a lot of the 90s; oversized men’s clothes with tight tops or overalls. Great video. I need to go shop my old closet now.
