​@ElGat00_YTWell... As you can see Rengoku say umai at every each bite. There's a samurai tradition which say samurais say that as a constant awareness and kind of preparation for death. Sometimes it's said Rengoku was preparing himself if he eventually dies, but that's just a headcannon but since there's some cutural similarities in kny,there's a theory. But in general umai is more of a colloquial way to say something tastes delicious. Ik you already got an answer, and it was one month ago, but I wanted to answer anyways😅
