Man I really want to know what inspired these murals
@Nerdforge3 жыл бұрын
I totally forgot to mention that in the video! 😅 The samurai mural in Sokrates' room was inspired by League of Legends - I tried to kinda make a crossover character of Spirit Blossom Ahri and Yasuo but with my own twist and design, plus a calm cherry blossom background. The glowing squirrel-bunny-creature is just something I came up with, thought it complemented the feeling of the painting! 😄 For the other mural in Cedrik's room I tried to gather inspiration from some of his favorite games like Fortnite, Rust, etc. and make a more atmospheric night scene from that. Thanks for the question! ✨🙏

Her fire technique is actually really interesting. The first thing she does is break a rule of painting fire. Normal fire is orange to white. First thing she does is add this deep red, or really strong orange. But the contrast because of it makes it LOOK brighter. So while, if you look at a video or photo of fire, you would never see those deep dark reds and oranges, it somehow looks sort of "hyper-real" on the paintings. It's a unique technique, I haven't seen anyone else pull it off that way.

Based on the reactions of her brothers I have the impression that the themes of the murals fit quite nicely to their personalities. One appears more direct, bold and maybe a bit mischievous (which fits well with the bright colors, the partially drawn sword and the three-tailed squirrel), while the other appears more dreamy, observing and reflecting (which fits well with the subtle beauty of the night scene and the wanderer resting next to the fireplace seemingly reflecting on his adventures).

Awesome job! I've done small murals on my grandparents bathrooms while they were away. Grandmas bathroom has flowers and humming birds and grandpa got a underwater scene over the bath tub. They arnt nearly as beautiful as yours though!

I freaking loooooooved these murals I can’t even I was looking for the reaction when it was over I’m so sorry hahaha my Brazilian-Italian brain was very confused because in my family curse words would come out and people would be silent shocked for at least a whole minute before saying anything 😂 it was so so so cute ugh when they asked “has Martina been here? Oh, that’s hansi” I swooned, what a family aaaaaa I can’t best wishes on the new house too! ✨💛

Growing up I loved SUPERMAN and wish I had a mural of Christopher Reeve as Superman as a mural in my room but I am now kind of old for that being 70 years old! You do beautiful work and I love watching your videos! Well done from Ohio USA!

I love the results. You are a very talented painterd. I would never attack such a project. Maybe a small abstract painting but nothing this large. Thanks for the video. I had a crazy thought, what if you had started in one room and then carried the theme into the next room? Keep painting!
