Omg you're terrific 😮 so happy you laugh about that! Thank you so much too to just remember us of some dangers, like bubble gum 😁. The farting moments is kind of babies, they also know well to use total silence in a creative way😅. Thanks and so good you're alive😊

I kid you not, the second I saw that bone my stoma tensed up. I think I frightened it. 😅

I've experienced that too! Our stomas just know what could go wrong! Lol It was pretty surreal pulling it out!

Oh my goodness! I haven't chewed gum in awhile but as soon as you said it I had the same thought!! How would it pass?! And that chicken bone! I'm so glad everything passed through for you and you didn't need to be hospitalized! 💜

Thanks! I am SO glad I didn't need to go to the hospital. Goofy things just happen to me🤦‍♂ Who knows what happened to that gum. I still chew it a lot, but I'm very careful. LOL

Omg Nate, you are so funny ! The most embarrassing thing that happened to me was one day at yoga " Lucy" ripped the biggest fart ever lol my friend in front of me heard it and turned around to ask if she heard what she thought she heard. Yoga can be tricky with an ostomy lol

Thanks Mary! haha wow that's hilarious. I love it! Yoga is absolutely tricky with an ostomy. I used to do it in college and sometimes I would just stop because I couldn't do certain positions with the location of my stoma. So my hat's off to you for doing yoga. That's amazing!

I asked myself the same thing. That's one reason I'm so embarrassed😂 I honestly think I swallowed a big piece of chicken(with the bone inside) because I was enjoying it and eating too fast.

I have 'gone' plant based except for some fish and eggs in the last 6 months. No bones. I wonder if the bone in your story was pulled out of your appliance/bag, or from the end of your stoma?

@@dyskover I guess that is one plus of going plant based. I’m very careful with bones these days. And yes, I actually pulled the bone right out of my stoma. It had not come all the way out into the bag. I hope your new nutrition route works out well for you!
