My youngest sister and my best friend get kidney stones every time they're pregnant. I've never had one. I've had stones in my saliva gland though and it hurt so bad. I couldn't do it.

I had one huge one my whole pregnancy. Couldn’t get it removed until after baby was born so had to get multiple stents to relieve pain and help urine pass. It was the most horrendous 37 weeks of my life.

Seeing Emma’s excitement with all of her Easter basket goodies just melts my heart! We used to go to my great grandparents house for Easter when I was growing up and they prepared a huge bag of snacks and a little bit of money for all of the kids in the family. I feel such a connection to your family. Emma reminds me so much of myself as a child and I now nanny for a family with three girls, the youngest two being newborn twins. The beginning when Emma was going through her basket and you guys were so patient and involved brought me back to when I only had my oldest son. I used to spend so much time just watching his every move. And then We added two more children over the years and although life becomes so fun, busy and full of even more love, and excitement .. you don’t get to soak in every little moment near as much. OMG Emma opening up her Easter eggs were just so darn precious with all her Ooohs and Aarhus......her last Easter alone with her mommy and daddy before the twins come......I have just had kidney stones and now I have gall stones but I can’t imagine dealing with that while pregnant....it’s painful. Rachelle, so sorry your enduring kidney stones. They are genetic in my family, unfortunately my niece gets them a lot. But at 21 she drinks a lot of soda she doesn’t follow a good diet, she knows she must stop. So glad you got rid of it prior to delivery. Want you to feel as well as possible when those babies come home! You are such a trooper. Make sure to take photos of Emma with your digital camera as well, Polaroid pictures will fade over time. Emma was so cute hunting for her eggs. I really miss having little ones around on Easter, my youngest grand baby is almost 13. Thank you for sharing, I absolutely love watching her excitement, and all those words, OH MY!
