Girl I passed mine I was at school about 3 months after you on Saturdays at PTS in Cincinnati! And you passed them I passed I got an 82 on my exam could've done better though!!! I did quizlets for Android and also common sense questions, order of draw questions then actual phlebotomy technician questions which they will try to throw you off!!!

Congratulations 💜. I took mine twice before the pandemic I missed it the first time by one point, and the second time it was by eight. I cried the first time I failed 🤣. But I've been back studying so I can try again at the beginning of the year.

Thank you!!...im not a good test taker even if i know the information, so i het test anxiety. If i tell you the amount of tests that ive had to retake down to DL you wouldnt feel alone lol. Study more and take more practice exams

I thought I was tripping but it looks like you had a similar experience as me w the CCMA exam. I took mine two days ago and was so pissed when none of the stuff I studied was on the exam. I swear they were trick questions. Most of my questions were about random disease prevention and sanitation questions - stuff you would never think would be on the test..still waiting on my results but I'm nervous

I am thinking of maybe going back to school for phlebotomy or Nurse aide and this gave me a good idea of what field I would like to enroll if I decide to go to school. You are so welcome! Phlebotomy is an awesome field but I suggest you get your CNA first before becoming a PHLEBOTOMIST. I have my CNA and I make way more. you can also find a job faster as a CNA.

@ev3rybitofdae973 I watched a lot of KZbin videos. For every chapter that was in my textbook, I typed it exactly on KZbin and watched videos on it. Quizzes worked the same way too. Nha has a practice test on their sight that you'll have to pay for but the questions are similar to the final. If I have time I'll try to post links.

You already have your foot in the door, so take your best shot. I have the worst case of testing anxiety and I did it, so I know you can.

This is what I do. I download apps, tests, and etc to studied before I even ATTEND the class lol. I would study over and over until I get it. But if I understand the concept then it also help. Also, I feel like if you don’t understand the stuff you’re reading then it will be hard to pass the exam or test. I make sure to really understand what I learn so that I don’t get confused lol. I start my class tonight and I’m nervous ! Wish me luck. I hope I can pass the class and exam.

How is the math in phlebotomy? I'm looking into going to school for this. My only down fall is I'm not very good with math. I know my adding and subtracting. Some multiplication. I'm not good at Algebra AT ALL. Is a phlebotomist something I can consider?

TBH you don't need to do any math as a PHLEBOTOMIST, unless you plan on working in the lab. Even then, the math is very minimal.

No it was for the national exam and use the textbook that was given as well as practice exams online

You can study for one day and still pass... You can pass even if you cram. You just have to make sure that you are studying the right things.

@@rainfallsdistances sure... definitely know your order of draw, the proper steps to draw blood, know term like hematuria, hematoma, hemolysis...etc, practice scenarios for reasons someone might get blood drawn, definitely know how to get blood from newborns and toddlers and proper sites for them, study the proper PPE for certain illnesses...if I can think of any more then I'll add it.
