@@Fogen1 no you can not, the only thing expired ranks do is increase your elo range so that u can get matched with ranks that are more variety then if you had a rank. theres no "placement matches" on expired rank, it just expands the softlock range for 1 game.

The reason for this is because you also go up against people with expired ranks, aka people who had not played the game in a while. Chances are these people are not as skilled as people who constantly play every day. This is why a lot of people says you shouldn't queue 20 games a day but instead 2 games a week.

@@ilKurieita expired rank doesnt mean you will get matched against people with expired rank. it does increase the chance but if 1 player with expired rank soloqs the game wont force another 9 people without a rank into his game. People say this because the rank system values those players more in terms of rankups. The more games u play in a short amount of time the less elo you get, simmilar to levels, if you play too much u get reduced xp, if u dont play much u get boosted xp.

I think the ranks are so messed up even more since the rank update. The difference between 1-2 ranks is like 10 ranks. I was DMG before the update, and now I am GNE-MG1 and constantly going up and down. In many matches we all are GNE but some people are with 30 kills, some are with 5. I started playing faceit again and until mm is fixed I won't play it again

Rank and ELOs have nothing to do with kills nor winning or losing. The sad part is that you can only rank up on a win/tie but ELO is calculated based on the amount of rounds that you as a team win vs the amount of rounds you as a team lost. MVPs also play a major factor alongside basic things.

That's not how it works. It's a comparative ranking system. So there will always be silvers, and they will always make up around the same percentage of the playerbase. And some people just aren't very bright. A LOT of them aren't even real silvers, but have deliberately deranked for easier games. If you're that guy who refuses to buy utility cus all he wants is to buy an AWP and hang out in spawn on T-side and bait his teammates, then go cower in a corner after the round is lost, desperately trying to save his AWP, then you're never getting out of silver, no matter how much time you spend on aim training. Or if you're that CT who rushes lower tunnel every round. Or one of the 4 CT guys running up long, who haven't figured out that if 4 guys are doing that, the rest of the map belongs to the T's. There are lots of people who deserve to stay in Silver.

I am currently hard stuck at silver 2. Every time i play i am better than everyone else. I know. When i practice against bots i top frag in every game. That is way i know silver 1 and 2 is full of cheaters. Everyone that outaims me is using walls or aimlock. It is hard to be legit. I should be at least silver 4 or gold 1.

Haix, make a video on tips on how to carry a game as a solo player. I deranked al the way to GN2 from MG2, because valve thinks it's funny to keep giving me teammates that don't know how to play standard. 75% don't even look if they have the bomb when rushing something. I think the ranking system is better on matchmaking than faceit. Its just that not many players play it. There are too many bots on lvl 10 faceit I feel like. On lvl 6-8 you can find players almost every game in ur team like this guy in the video which is just insane.

Could be the location but I been on SE recently they play better on average. But getting out of SE-GN3 is hard. It's a zoo where no one have an idea of whats happenening. Making frags is pointless as 5v3 doesn't make any difference it's just random. Staying your pos doesn't work if everyone's quiet. Only way to rank up fast to GN4-MG2 for me is to play a MG-DMG lobby. Or just stop caring about the rank and play Faceit 4 like a normal person, it never been 1% as bad as MM.
