12/1/23 If your struggling with 100x hit combo. Find a pair of dugbug in a ravine. Keep your distance and just spam your base attack. Move around and keep evading until they glitch themselves in a rock or branch and can’t move. Happens more often then you think. Once they are stuck just hit until 100x and they can’t hit you.

Just platinumed it, I regret doing it in 10 days my god am I burnt out (my own fault). Love the game but a few gripes for me would be to make the merlin trial cutscenes skippable when you beat the trial and somehow I missed a few of the butterfly locations so had to resort to youtube to help me find them oh and screw the other 3 partial playthroughs of getting to the map chamber :O.

I have NEVER gotten a platinum trophy before, I’m at 88% with onl collection chests and other tedious small trophies. Ravenclaw map chamber trophy is the last one I’m saving for!!

Good luck! The collectibles seem overwhelming at first but they aren’t so bad once you really start going for them. Pro tips for if you end up missing any chests it’s most likely any of these 1) butterfly chests 2) broom from random vendor 3) the beast pocket dimension things also have chests hidden in them

For such a huge game it really didn’t take me all that long to complete. At least not as long as I thought anyways. Shit only took me like 47 hours. That’s still a while, but not as long as most open world games I’ve played.

Yeah, the endgame boss wasn’t super easy but most of its difficulty just came from the fact it was a massive bullet sponge. That spider fight though they throw that at you right at the beginning when you’re still most likely bad at the combat AND have very limited spells.

You think that's rough? Try looking for 1 conjuration butterfly chest since the game came out only to (since yesterday) see its in the entrance to the forbidden forest and follow them only to not give you anything when you followed them to the chest and then when you try to reload the save file to redo the butterfly and the save file saved a whole hour so I can't just load the file 🙃 not seen nothing mention anything about it being fixed either. This was the last trophy I need to plat the game too

The ancient magic on all enemies trophy is driving me mad! As well as the collections one. There’s just too many! And you have to find them by chance??

I have no idea how I got the ancient magic trophy so easily, I guess I just got lucky and yeah the collections could be overwhelming I recommend starting with the Demiguise statues, they will allow you to be able to access all places with locks, After that I got all chests/revelio pages around the open world it’s fairly easy to do because each place is labeled with how many chests are located in each (as well as demiguise statues) Then I did hogsmeade, not only do you have to get the usual collectibles there but you also have to purchase all brooms and conjurations, this will be really pricey. Good way of grinding gold is by capturing beasts and selling them in hogsmeade. Each beast sells for around 100 gold. Lastly focus on hogwarts itself. Easy focus on each section separately. Doing one run through for revelio pages then do it all over for chests. 3 things that a lot of people get stuck on are 1) butterfly spots, they only appear on the map while you are close to them 2) the areas that your beasts are in I can’t remember the actual name of them have chests in them 3) traveling merchants around the map sell brooms you need For revelio pages in hogsmeade and hogwarts I just followed video guides. As well as for butterfly spots. Hope this break down of things help. Good luck!
