I Platinum'd Metro Exodus... It Was Rough

i remember back in 2019 when this game came out, blowing up gpus and all, but that was all ive seem from the game, never played until now, im 18 hours in, almost finishing and damn, this game is a blast, its so good i loved it. Def one of the best games ive played in years, already bought metro 2033 and last light on the steam sale

I can say that I really liked this game. Especially cuz I am Russian and I played in Russian. And I can say to everyone that Russian audio in every part of metro is kinda funnier than in other languages. Also on my first try playing this game I didn’t grab the thing that gives you ability to carry twice amount of bullets. It is so op. I grabbed it on second try And also Sam’s voice in English is nothing like Russian. In Russian it is so funny cuz of American accent

I was on the verge of tears on my ranger hardcore playthrough during the baron shootout. I forgot that part was coming up and only had the sniper rifle and a shotgun and not much ammo for either and it was a bad combo, the AK and double action 8 shot revolver would have been way better. The beginning part is easier if you go up into the guard towers. You can walk through a lot of stealth sections in Metro but with the long load times of Exodus and few and far between checkpoints and no quick save on ranger hardcore it makes the stealth way more tedious than the previous games

Damn that is a brutal experience with the baron! I really struggled with it too, the loading time was definitely my biggest enemy here tho

Great Video my man, honestly as someone who Loves the Metro games and especially Exodus.. you really need to play the Dlcs for this game, its some of the best I have seen in a game imo and they are on sale quite often. With them not being too long you could also have a first playthru just for the experience!

Funnily enough, despite the beginning thoughts it being clunky, i actually prefer it! I play games, alot. But i'm not an expert, so the clunkier feel means that the reactions and aiming is perfect for me, more sensitive and quick games often become overwhelming for me, so this is... beautiful style to me :D Thankfully imo, the moral system in this game is way... way... more acceptable for me, even if it's a bit difficult at times ;D The innacuracy from time to time may just be an unclean weapon, but it's also more specific-weapons for specific uses, but it's usually not too bad :D And the spiders get to me too... Minor arachnophobia so it is just...The WORST parts of Metro :'] As atmospheric and well made as they are, just... no :'] The good ending really does get to my heart, one of the few games that actually affected me, just played it this year too, but definitely my game of the year :D for any poor sods in the future: on the mission before the train in the yard going to the red door , you can go up the pipes to the left, was how i managed to get through myself :') But all said, well done mate! after playing on the normaler difficulty, i can see why it's horrible at times such as forest child heh, never would myself, so you have my respect! :D I look forward to more platinums and other content from you! definitely subscribing :D I hope you get more deserved sub milestones soon too :D

Thanks for the extremely kind comment man! It was very nice to read :) Yeah I don't think I realized at the time how unclean weapons would effect the accuracy. It's actually a cool detail that just hadn't clicked with me as I was still only a few hours into the game! I also do like the slower pace on occasion. I've platinum'd a game called The Long Dark which is honestly nothing like Metro Exodus but has that slow FPS pace which made it feel so familiar. Lol that mission before the trainyard is messed up, so unnecessarily difficult, I wish I had known about the pipe strategy! Anyway thanks again for the kind comment, I really appreciate it :)

Lol! Nice vid man! I make 100% achievement on PC and there you need to complete the game without dying. I mean technically it`s more like The Last of us 2 Underground mode where if you die, you reload on the beginning of the chapter but pretty hard anyway.

If you want 100% on ps you also have to do that but it isnt hard bc you can do it on the easiest difficulty

since many morons play games for the Trophies rather then just having fun Sony employees are banning accounts with lots of Trophies and then selling them so maybe it's not that good idea btw Sony is also banning ppl for what they say in private chats and even for pictures uploaded to the console Not the account the console even to accounts set to private so maybe you should no advertise crap like that
