my personal take on getting a beat down at a poker table is this - If you feel the loss emotionally then you're probably playing above your bankroll. Yes you can feel bitter about a bad beat or a hand you misplayed. Bit swings are just an expected variable to the game. If you feel dizzy after a loss then the swings are too high for your pocket. Just move down the stakes. There's no judgement.

@nathancoffman54972 ай бұрын
Don’t know what’s up with all the “punt” comments on the last hand. #1 why do people keep bringing up KK, neither opponents are going to play KK pre-flop the way this action went. Not only that, but post flop too! Checks around flop, then checks around to Lex on turn? Very unlikely. #2 shoving river is simply an exploitative play to get max value from vip player who WILL call with any king and a maybe rare non-believing pocket pair. Have you seen the guy play, he’s not folding a king. #3 Euro-pro can have so many other hands than quads that call turn, especially when it’s known that the other player in the hand is a whale! If the action vip pay’s people off and is sticky, then the euro pro is incentivized to stay in with anything decent (88-jj, and even some ace high’s with the pot odds being quite good for them). Especially when flop checks, then it checks to Lex on turn, 88-jj still beats a decent amount of holdings Lex could bet with when checked to twice.
