I would have to agree. I introduced my friend to Rimworld, he purchased the DLC's, and within approx. Two hours, he referred to random, unaligned travellers as "fresh meat" for his Cannibal tribe.

Worth mentioning that Cassandra is actually harder than Randy, mostly because you are guaranteed a constantly growing difficulty than a random difficulty. With Randy you /might/ get a hard raid, Cassandra will toss ever growing difficulty raids at you

Randy might be peaceful, or he might throw raids above your weight at you. While Cassandra will slowly scale Randy might just slam you ou of the blue. I also believe Cassandra takes wealth when scaling

@@bryan0x05 Yes, but the entire game is what I'm focussed on. You're not guaranteed a hard raid with Randy the entire game, where Cassandra will toss difficult stuff at you eventually. Overall, on average, you're likely to get more difficulty out of her than Randy due to this

In one run randy makes 3 grizzly bears self tame and give you a meteor out of gold and next time you get 7 diseases and toxic rain

I did a sea ice run long ago, it was an amazing challenge. Make then the world gen worked differently, the biome was still new and with a mod you could get -40 to -140 degree maps (Celsius) and that was what I played on, it was brutally cold but it kinda made it easier as raiders never had enough cold resistance, even their parkas weren’t enough and they often froze to death or were weakened when they made it to the base. My run was really different to yours (and basically everyone else I’ve ever seen), I went with crashlanded, with a grower/researcher and a constructor/crafter, plus a third colonist who I used to construct the initial house then killed for meat. Then I just rushed hydroponics and got mostly self sufficient on rice, and only cannibalised when I needed to. Most of the colony was really peaceful, just expanding and building stuff I needed. One colonist spent 2 years inside until we could get the wool we needed to make a good enough parka, and I had only 2 colonists until I started building the ship. It was a great run and I will always remember it fondly. Also, I had 2 thrumbos self tame which was ridiculous.

If you can't put things inside, at least put them under a roof! Many items (like wood) almost don't deteriorate. So you could've stored that precious food inside instead of the wood! :)
