fun fact: you can occasionally see the snaxsquatch in areas around the game, it will shortly disappear after it spawns. I do not know if this can only happen after certain parts of the game or if it can happen any time, but I saw it up on a cliff in the Garden Grove. scary fact: if you dont finish each character's quests all the way through, they will eat bugsnax in the finale. if you let them eat too much, they will...... disappear. however, if you complete all their quests, they will never eat more bugsnax and whack anything that gets close to them. the bad ending means only you and filbo escape. if you lose anybody, the final group picture of everybody else wont show, and everybody you lose wont get to show their after-the-story images.

there's a secret part of the DLC that doesn't have any achievements connected to it and is not required for 100%, but it's really cool. All I'll say is that it's not on broken tooth (the new island) but on the main island. A lot of people miss this part when doing 100% runs.

What I love about the ending besides the twist is the fact if you complete all the characters quests its impossible for them to lose and will defend themselves no matter now many get to them because they believe themselves now realizing they dont need the snaxs. If you dont they wont fight back and actually eat the snaxs and if they eat too many they give a little farewell before exploding into food which is just sad to watch

"Daddy cake legs" is a spider reference. There's a series of an insect or two and a couple of spiders that are nicknamed "Daddy longlegs" much like how black leopards get mistaken for panthers a lot. (Panthers don't actually exist, or at least the individual animal doesn't. Panthera is a whole field of its own.) Among these "Daddy longlegs" candidates are a spider-mimic insect (only six legs, but otherwise does look like a spider) and several really spindly spiders, like the huntsman.

god I love this game. fun fact the letters and the house were part of the bigsnax dlc. I definitely think that if you enjoyed the main game, you'd enjoy bigsnax. it actually made me stop hating Shelda and floofty when I played.

Bugsnax is honestly such a good game, and I loved this video! I personally never played 100% of it (though I did finish the story) and it was really interesting to see you accomplish it. I'd love for you to play the dlc too (since I haven't)

I have yet to 100%. I just a few more achievements to do. I already played the whole game though. The worst achievement for me is the transform every Grumpus because I know what the snax are. I don't want to transform Filbo (although I did rather quickly make Beffica into pickles).
