fun fact: you can occasionally see the snaxsquatch in areas around the game, it will shortly disappear after it spawns. I do not know if this can only happen after certain parts of the game or if it can happen any time, but I saw it up on a cliff in the Garden Grove. scary fact: if you dont finish each character's quests all the way through, they will eat bugsnax in the finale. if you let them eat too much, they will...... disappear. however, if you complete all their quests, they will never eat more bugsnax and whack anything that gets close to them. the bad ending means only you and filbo escape. if you lose anybody, the final group picture of everybody else wont show, and everybody you lose wont get to show their after-the-story images.

there's a secret part of the DLC that doesn't have any achievements connected to it and is not required for 100%, but it's really cool. All I'll say is that it's not on broken tooth (the new island) but on the main island. A lot of people miss this part when doing 100% runs.

What I love about the ending besides the twist is the fact if you complete all the characters quests its impossible for them to lose and will defend themselves no matter now many get to them because they believe themselves now realizing they dont need the snaxs. If you dont they wont fight back and actually eat the snaxs and if they eat too many they give a little farewell before exploding into food which is just sad to watch

There's another secret hidden bugsnax only found in a hidden area connected to Boiling Bay but its technically completely optional and mostly just lore-based. The hidden bugsnax is also incredibly incredibly annoying to catch and requires a lot of patience and time and literally just luck. BTW: the game also tracks what Bugs are in Gramble's ranch (shown by a fence icon on the Bug's portrait in the Bugapedia), and is counted as a second form of catching although the game doesn't give anything for "ranching" all Bunsnax also the Bugs permanently stay in the ranch, even if some should have narratively left at certain points in the game

I've beat Bugsnax multiple times over, so this was an enjoyable watch! I *highly* recommend playing Bigsnax. It makes the ominous ending a lot clearer. Equally ominous, though.

My new headcanon (could be busted by something in game i cant remember much) is that the fight that broke up snaxburg happened after the journalist arrived but the journalist was in a coma after hitting their head on a rock and missed the entire thing

I have yet to 100%. I just a few more achievements to do. I already played the whole game though. The worst achievement for me is the transform every Grumpus because I know what the snax are. I don't want to transform Filbo (although I did rather quickly make Beffica into pickles).

Wow, I 100%-ed this game too and never realized you could collect sauce with the Snakgrappler! That makes things _so_ much easier in the Sizzling Sands with the cheese sauce.
