Very cool! I personally love RLCraft! Here are some tips based on my several deaths! 1. Grab 4 blaze rods, a cobblestone and one redstone to make a heating coil. It will warm you up in your base even during winter, and is togglable with redstone. 2. Find a defiled biome and get bookwyrms. You can recycle your lesser enchantment books with them. Maybe you'll find a golden one. 3. Get tide guardian armor with sea serpent scales and prismatic scales. They give you a maximum of STRENGTH 4 when in water, which means you can easily slaughter most mobs. 4. Get some more cold protection and explore the snowy biomes. The ice dragon blood is better for weapons, and you can find them as trades with snow villagers too. You also have a very small chance of finding a legendary structure called the Shivaxi Monument, which is filled with goodies. I recommend finding an ender queen's crown bauble, which makes you immune to hypothermia.

i got the sea serpent amour and the ender queens crown i didn't know it helped with cold so thank you! and i tried for a few hours to get gold bookwyrm scales killed to gold book wyrms and only got one scale rip and ended up killing a ice dragon towards the end of the vid cause i was looking for them foreverrrrr.... thank you for the tips i appreciate them a lot!!

Already waiting for 300 days. Sugestion on what to do: Defiled lands and lycanite mobs have some bosses for you to kill. One of the bosses is summoned in a dimension called "lost cities". It is really hard there, so you'll need some advanced prot on all your gear to even be able to survive there. In that dimension you can find some really cool baubles, like the race rings, that allow you to transform into diferent races (dragons, giants, goblins, etc). Also, mobs drops materials to make the strongest weapons in the game: The sentient weapons. Good luck. PS: you're playing on version 2.9.1, I suggest you to upgrade to 2.9.2, it has a lot of good new things, balance and bug fixes

You need to get full silver armor to survive in the lost cities. In 2.9.2 (I think) it has a set bonus that makes you immune to pretty much all debuffs, and you *need* it inside of the lost cities. The enemies there are from the 'Scape and Run: Parasites' mod, they do a sh!t ton of damage and applies alot of debuffs. The two most notable ones are CoTH (Call of The Hive) Which in RLCraft makes the SaR:P mobs spawn *very* frequently around you, making it impossible to do literally anything. The other debuff, which I don't know the name of, basically makes any and all armor useless. (Unless you have full silver, which makes it impossible to get the debuff) Leather armor and full Adv. Prot. dragon scale armor will do the same thing if you get a high enough level of this debuff. Oh and not to mention in normal MC (as in MC w/out the whole revamped health system) The basic, weakest enemy can two shot you, and the stronger ones can and will one or two shot you in full prot 4 diamond armor. And watch out for the primitive and adapted reeker. They can do a charge attack, hitting you up to 30 times a second, shredding any heath you thought you had. With the same amount of damage to kill a prot 4 diamond person. It's a great mod :] So Shrew, you *NEED* silver armor for your adventure to the lost cities.

You can put Diamond Horse Armor on your roc, Would help it from getting 1 shot and you dropping from high up when fighting a dragon with aimbot. You can also level your roc up with Quill Charge that drops from the Quillbeast/Bruncha and any other Charge item with "Order Element". I would also suggest maybe trying to tame a Golden or Scarlet Roc unless you plan to use your dragon as a flying mount going forward since those 2 are better versions and have more Health than a regular roc.

When you first made the canteen I was really hoping you'd make it into a dragon canteen. When you did I was so happy. Not needing to purify the water is amazing. PS, I'm only about ten minutes in, but crossbows are SO op for killing dragons. Diamond bolts and a nice crossbow you can just hide so far away and it shoots pretty dang straight if memory serves me. Hey loved the video, I’d love to see more, was really entertaining, I’m actually going to look at more of your videos, you should play the new update! I’d love to see you go to lost cities(if you do, make sure you have silver armor and max enchants, YOU WILL DIE IF NOT)! Some tips btw, the crates you got, keep getting them and put a chest in your roc, then they can carry 5 of them and that’s 45 slots on ur mount alone, also if you want to get stupid op, trade with Librarian villagers and when you do, mark on ur atlas the enchants and same with the way stones so it’s organized (look out for adv prot, supre sharp etc, envemoned and viper great too cause they will stack with your poison stone and you’ll prolly one tap things) especially in the port city you found, there is a mending trader on the side of the island with the way stone (opposite side of the emerald throne) look for him using F3 and A, if you play the new update, he removes F3 and A but there is a Reddit post to re enable it, also tear 5/4s spawn under ground, the one you found broke out of its den, combat to cold, get dragons eye and you are immune to hyper Thermia, and get heating box’s from enchantment table to put on gear! I loved the video and I’d love to see more!

So I am only about 30 mins in, enjoying the video so far! But I would like to mention the idea of getting an Dragonbone Ice Crossbow, or a Dragonbone Ice Halberd. In the later games of RL craft, a shield doesn't really help to much. Especially against some bosses. Having a Halberd will do more damage and give you more reach when it comes to melee combat. And the Ice Variants for Dragonbone weapons can freeze enemies on hit. Which can be quite powerful. However just don't try and put flame aspect / Flame on these as it wont really do anything for the weapon damage as it will just take up an extra enchanting slot. I believe the same is said for the Flame versions as well. Looking forward to seeing 300 days.

To add on further the reason why I suggest a Halberd. I believe something was changed in one of the RLcraft updates, the one before the newest one, where Sabers and Rapiers no longer gain a damage bonus when using a shield, or do less damage with a shield. Hopefully comments can help confirm or Deny this.

Here's some enchantment tip I found out a bit recently... If you keep enchanting individual enchantments from books to a weapon on an anvil, you use more xp per enchantment. If you don't see any enchantments on a specific piece of equipment that you like, from the enchanting table, it's not game over, since you just make cheap equipment (Iron armor, stone tools and weapons, iron weapons), put them into the enchantment table, look for an enchantment you want, and then you can put that equipment into the the anvil, with an empty book (I don't remember the order) and it'll destroy the equipment, but puts the enchantment on the book (If there are more than one enchantments on it, only the first enchantment gets carried) You can stack up to about 8 enchantments (maybe more) into a book through the anvil, and by doing so, you just put all those enchantments on your equipment with the anvil for less xp than doing it one at a time would. And on the armor/ equipment thing... You can just smelt them back to their raw resources for exp, or you can just reforge them in your inventory crafting (Putting 2 of the same items in your crafting slot remakes the item, at the expense of losing 1.)

yo at 40:40, not sure if anyone ever answered you but the reason there are two dragonbone recipes is because one of them is the ice and fire recipe and the other is the spartan weaponry one, which is the one that can be infused with fire or ice! it's weird, but you get used to it. also put your backpack in the bauble slot lol, then you can wear a chest piece with it

Hey man, most tier 4 and 5 drakes should be in caves, they have huge caverns that they sleep in. Plus there should be more than fire dragons, from my knowledge there are Fire, Ice, and Lightning dragons - which are the most rare from them, but I was unable to confirm that they are in the RLCRAFT mod pack. Also, each dragon has its own biomes that it spawns in for the Lightning one JUNGLE, BADLANDS, and SAVANA. Ice is anything that has SNOW/ICE. And Fire is everywhere else. Also, Ice drakes are the only ones that can SWIM!! btw... keep up the great videos, I'm really enjoying your content man!

I got a tip for enchanting, first of all, when you enchant something that's lvl 30, you will use 3 of your lvls. For example you're level 46 and you enchant something and you're now lvlevel 43. You actually lost more exp since you need more xp to level up each time you're level is higher. So my tips is to use a exp tome and store all of your exp and then use one exp tome which store 30 of your lvl and you can enchant with it. Then once you're lvl 27, store the lvl back into the exp tome and use another exp tome and once you're lvl 30 and enchanted again, both of the exp tome only have 27 levels inside of it. So what you're gonna do is use both of is and store it again. One of the exp tome will be lvl 30 and other will probably be lvl 20+. So this way, you'll save more levels but it's kinda a hassle but definitely worth it

I’m so sorry for the loss of your IRL dog a few weeks. Losing a pet is heartbreaking.😔 I made the mistake of naming a MineCraft dog after my late IRL dog in my longterm world & after nearly 3yrs I lost her during a raid when I accidentally clicked her off sit & a ravenger one shot her.😕 - I *really* do hope that you will continue this series. At least until you kill the ender dragon(if u don’t in this video)& the pack’s 3 main bosses…even if you only make each video 50 days long but don’t promise to put each such video out faster than if it was a full 100dys for your sanity. That way you can take more breaks to play something different for awhile when you start getting frustrated/angry. Since you aren’t playing hardcore Id suggest keeping some XP tomes on you to store your levels occasional so you don’t lose a bunch of XP if you die. Also if an event starts the best thing you can do is run straight for your waystone to travel far away, hide until it says the spawning has stopped & then teleport home. Especially since many enemies will target any animals bonded to you & some even livestock. I’m very happy to see someone play RL Craft without already knowing every trick & aspect of the game! I truly enjoy watch people play mod packs where they discover & learn the pack during gameplay. I don’t expect any player to go in complete blind or to never look up something they discover or how to accomplish something they find they want to do! But the *vast majority* of RL Craft play throughs could honestly also be labeled “tutorials” bc of how much the players knows before even their 1st attempt! Or their 1st *recorded* attempt for KZbin…as several players I watch have admitted to playing the mod pack for weeks or months either on their own or on stream to really learn the mod pack & plan out every step before ever attempting to record. Which as long as the player has an enjoyable/entertaining personality many such videos can still be enjoyable to watch. However…after you watch enough such videos which nearly all follow an almost identical format/progression…such videos lose their appeal. Even though I absolutely love the mod pack…particularly bc there are many possible paths to take to progress through the pack. Hence why it’s so enjoyable watching your play through! It doesn’t feel scripted or like every step has been planned out in detail AND you are learning as you go either via natural discovery in game prompting you to look something up or from comments. - I hope you take on more of the dungeons in the 2nd half of this video or if not…in the next one. BTW you can actually have a beholder as a flying mount! It’s a good one due to its fairly large amount of health, its speed & bc you have a much better field of vision vs any of the dragon mounts. You should look up how to get one. I know one way is to get lucky with the various types of soul gems dropped in the dungeons but I’m pretty sure there is a way to get/tame one more reliably. - Anyway…love your videos. You are one of my favorite newly discovered creators & Im enjoying watching all your previous content in between new videos. Also enjoy your channel bc you are one of the very few MineCraft or gameplay creators in general who doesn’t bother to keep everything strictly PG or even G. For KZbin to technically legally be *only* for users age 16+ it’s extremely annoying how parents who refuse to take responsibility for the apps/content their kids access & either dont know how or cant be bothered to use parental controls to do so. *OR* they simply feel they have the *right* to demand that literally anything their kid want to or has a remote possibility of accessing be made “kid friendly”.😒

Hey shrew try out the lost city dimension to go there you need a bed and 6 skeleton skulls but be warned this dimension is very challenging just be sure to have sharpness and fire enchants on your weapons in the dimension there's a ring called the ring of dragons this is a bobble that'll turn your character in to a dragon like entity but be sure your stocked on med supplies because its extraordinarily difficult

You can only get eggs from female stage 4 to 5 dragons. Also dragon blood can be used to make dragon steel, but you'll need a dragon forge for that. Sans blood, I think you have everything you need for it.
