Some fun facts about certain professions: Conservationist, if you don't have taxes on, will instead give you that tax deduction in the form of a cumulative 1% increase to the sell price off all goods for every 100ish trash pulled up, to a max of 5% by default. To use combat limit breaks, you have to hit the left shift button once their ability bars are full. Fisher affects all bait bonuses, including the treasure chest chance from the magnet bait.

@@GamerGarYT Yeah, that's what the Limit Breaks are. Each level 10 combat profession has its own unique one, like Slime Charmer turning the nearby slimes huge and making them attack other mobs for a little bit. Also, if you've updated the mod, then there's also enchantments for the slingshot and a special ability for it.

There's actually a little leprechaun easter egg in stardew 1.6! unfortunately the mod creator has taken the margo mod down to be updated for 1.6. only the skill aspect is currently up

Question: how do you access the config to set the various difficulties and stuff? The only settings I get from the start screen is the basic menu to toggle on/off the various major categories (professions, combat, taxes etc), but there's nothing more than that. I can't figure out if I'm missing something or if it's a bug because I'm playing on a Steam Deck or something... I'm mostly enjoying MARGO so far. I've only just started, and I'm struggling more than usual with the combat - I've tried swords and cudgels so far, but they both have this really annoying lag after the end of the attack animation where I can't attack again for a bit too long. I can't remember how different it is from vanilla, maybe it's all in my head because it's been so long since I had a non-galaxy sword 😅

2:31 Unfortunately that is not correct. In MARGO, Resistance is reworked Defence. It was changed, so that each point of Resistance/Defense is a multiplicative 10% damage reduction, or amplification if it is negative. This means that defence matters more in the later game when what would normally be a flat 10 damage reduction from defense is instead a reduction of significantly more.
