Honestly, they need to do something about how unrealistic executions are. If you killed a king in Medieval Europe, you'll be celebrated as a hero in as many places as you'll be vilified. It may not have been super common, but that's more because true Medieval battles weren't so easy, not that kings couldn't be killed. And it's completely normal to thin the ranks of the enemy king by executing his officers so his quality of army management collapses and he finds himself without a military. All of this "kill ANYONE with a name and turn into a rabid beast in everyone's eyes" crap is just wrong and often makes me feel like nothing but completely dominating your enemy with endless war is the only choice and it gets old.

I would highly recommend taking a few good troops out of each regiment, putting them into Nogand or someone's party, and recruiting some horse archers. During the 400 v 400 battle, your cavalry were largely uncontested, so if they could use that time to position themselves behind the enemy in the infantry skirmish, they could do great work thinning their lines AND catching fleeing stragglers for minimal damage. You really only need like twenty of the good ones to really exploit those openings in combat.

There are kingdom policies that help with loyalty. I strongly recommend you take them before you have too many clans, because clan leaders will vote against them. They are needed, because the clans in your kingdom will own fiefs (unless you want them to ultimately leave you) and the AI has almost no effective ways to deal with loyalty. Also, loyalty and construction are tied, so it really hurts your ability to build stuff. The -3 hit on loyalty will happen to any fief you own that is not Vlandian and any fief the other clans take that is not their culture and taking at least the Forgiveness of Debts policy will usually stabilize the fiefs fairly quickly. Generally, loyalty goes above everything else and with the right policies, it'll be a huge help as your kingdom grows and you won't have time to micromanage every fief.
