They are more deadly than ever my friends...
Today we are playing "Carl's Psychological Plains" made by Jujustrum. The date on the level shows that it's from 2024, but in reality this comes from Mario Maker 1!

It's such a shame that they got rid of the costumes on MM2, they were the best part of MM1. Peak costume usage is that legendary level where they force a spring costume on you and drop you in a room with 20ish springs bouncing all over the place. Good times.

Returning to SMM1 reminds me, now that levels are no longer being uploaded I'm pretty sure it would totally be possible to complete every uncleared level. Perhaps if it is possible, that could make for something you can try alongside the SMM2 uncleared series?

@@Fvckallofyou1 I kind of did this but in smm2, since you cant download the level though I had to be kinda original, but I was trying to basically copy a couple of ceave gamings ideas, and it didnt go too too well, one of them was dont look left, which I couldnt recreate at all so I never uploaded it, the other one I did upload but I think I deleted it because of the comments barking at me (rightly so) that I just copied ceaves idea nearly exactly, same level but just made slightly worse basically, so yeah, I learned my lesson about plagiarism in smm2 xd

Mario Maker 1 had BETTER user-friendly map making. And also, it had Yu-chan (And costumes in general) I'm not saying I would choose MM1 over MM2... buuut... I would choose MAKING levels in MM1 over MM2. Just because it's so much harder to make levels now. Not to mention, if you ignore the like... maybe two dozen different things added... you could do most of the same tricks that people do in MM2 in MM1

If that was edited in then holy crap, thats incredible work, the poses switched and everything, it sounded different, his posture was a bit different, so many minute details Chris got right, I still think Dave might have done that for the laughs though, I wasn't there for the stream, so if Dave said this and then didn't actually do it as a joke afterwards, then Chris is legendary.

@DGR: That level is illegal, so no one else can play it, Super mario Maker 2 remove overlaied pipe, so he used a glitch to created overlaied pipe, this is why DGR downloaded the level before it gets deleted by Nintendo. Super Mario maker 1 was the game where it was not a glitch to do overlaied pipe.

SMM1's SMB1 feels so different I don't know if it's a WiiU thing, or actually the game, but it feels desaturated almost, less saturated atleast. Tracks also look so weird, I think they replaced the sky blue with white in SMM2? I don't remember, but it definitely looks nicer now than it did then xD I do miss Jumpu girl though xD
