These influencer tournaments are always unbalanced. That's because everyone always has a different mindset. Some people/captains go into it super sweaty with mostly pros/expros. While others go into it expecting a friendly competition between influencers trying to make good content and get stomped. Never seen a single twitch rivals where teams were balanced and someone didn't leave feeling screwed over.

That's how it'll always be since twitch rival tourneys are meant to be fun rather than fair, so they shoot for what's good for viewers over the fairness in rulings and teams

Honestly most of summits rants are completely biased and off base... However his point here about bans was 100% correct. The structure of these is horrible. I wouldve done NO bans and pros/challengers have to not pick main role.

Would love to see you try and learn tft with boxbox. I’ve been playing it for two seasons and it’s one of my favorite games atm. Not as hard as league but still has a decent learning curve.

That was a shit show ain't no way that was a fair fight Boxbox in top lane who doesn't play League anymore and was essentially Riven otp top laner who can't apply that much pressure vs Doublelift as his main role that he's been playing his entire career against other pro players easily able to snowball and win the game. He was playing against bots as an AD "Carry" there was no win scenario there they needed at least a Plat-Diamond player down in bot lane to control Doublelift for it to even be a little bit fair. The fact that Boxbox got solo killed by Hutch says enough all he had to do was go tank and build tank items and play passively to win there wasn't a snowball scenario for Boxbox.

I hope you continue to play league of legends, I'd love to see you and sketch do some ARAMs with some newer players instead of all these expros and plat 1s. Aram in case you don't know focuses on playing your champ and fighting moreso than laning and map pressure. I believe you and your compadres would have much more fun playing ARAM than summoners rift until you understand the champs and which ones you enjoy!

Also, in ARAM both teams get random champions from the pools and have up to 2 rerolls each. once rerolled you can select champions from the top of the screen should you choose to reroll your current champion.

moba life is hard, ngl. Hard ass genre. The hardest, except maybe RTS. And all a moba is is basically an RTS with unique units in the triple digits you control 1 at a time. DOTA heroes will often have more than one thing to control. And you can control players who leave the game. League champs don't really do that kind of thing but it's its own thing.

I think the 3 other teams were decently balanced too. Pob and friends, Double and friends, and then a team of Plat/Diamonds. Just crazy that they threw 4 brand new players on a team with an Ex-challenger and called it good. Probably should've just swapped Double and Box-Box. OR instead of having Pob and Double, get like Professor Akali and Zwag and split up the Plat/Diamond players evenly. Having more knowledgeable players at least give SOME direction and the Iron players duke it out. They could've also added restrictions like best player on each team gets their champ chosen by the enemy team. Just kinda sad that people like Summit come out of this with both them and their communities hating league/the tournament. That should never be the result of a fun tourney. Sad to lose sure, but not mad that you even played.

I would call for a rematch and balance out the teams better. $250,000 on the line to have 1 team completely comprised of pros, and the other with scrubs. fuck that. If I were a professional gamer I would never participate in one of their events ever again.

I also used to be confused as to what I saw in LoL a year and a half ago. I remember seeing a clip of some champ that got a 5-man stun. At first, I was hella confused about it, then I wanted to see what all the hype was about the game, so I downloaded it and I played, got shit on and stopped for a bit, came back and looked up guides on how to play the game, had one pop off game, and I was officially hooked. It's a game that both benefits casual gamers (ARAM, TFT) and competitive gamers (Ranked, Flex, although I would not recommend these modes, it's an absolute shitshow). Anyway, I think it's a fun game. You just need someone else to help you because it doesn't tell you how to play properly.

@@AryanGenetics a challenger adc can probably solo carry an iron game the hardest. adcs destroy everything in the game if they can survive. irons dont understand the concept of positioning and how to punish cocky positions. during the dragon fight doublelift walked into melee range of a jax, while running down two casters who didn't press any buttons and stacked on each other during a twitch ult and should've been punished for it.
