It's not that bad but it does need some work. I think part of it is becaues of the localization. Somone in another video explained it well and they said "Problems of cultural translation. In Russian he says "ебаные пироги", which is translated literally to "fucking pies", and they tried to localize it as "crispy critters". Swearing is quite common in Russian language, and there are plenty of non-sensical swears that are supposed to be that way. In Russian P-3 swears a lot,"

You can tell by all of the writing in the game that isn't spoken dialog (all the terminals and written stuff) that the writing is actually great, it really seems like the dialog writers either dropped the ball hard or the translation team did
