What's funny is that this game doesnt even really seem that bad. Sure it is kind of a re-skin of bf1 (from what I've seen), but if they didnt act so foolish when releasing the game then people would've loved it lol. If they would've just said "hey, this is a fictionalized game loosely based in the setting of ww2 where you can play as whoever you want as this isnt a real representation of ww2..." then most people would buy and enjoy it. The graphics are amazing, everyone has the same GPU but some people believe that they can only get 30 FPS. Also the story is.... Well let's say it's not good. A lot of times the AI is not smart. The variety though is so amazing, you barely see the same NPC next to each other and when you do they explain it in the lore that it's biologically possible. One wierd thing is that you have a shared skill tree and a personalized one but the shared one nerfs your personal one. Also the whole game is really really hardcore, you can die even before you spawn. Oh also it takes 9 months to spawn...your time is heavily influenced by the region you spawn in and the pair that spawned you and all of that is based on RNG. After you spawn there is a period that you are trying to figure out the controls and just after you start figuring it out you get to go on a facility with a lot of other freshspawns and one veteran player. Then you start getting general knowledge about the game and after that you start specialising from about level 12, ohh the level system is shit, you get one level each 365 days and you get xp even when you sleep and on the day of your level up you can throw the "level up party" and the amount of people that come will be based on you "social level". Once you specialise and reach level 18 a lot of random rules start to appear and a whole lot of restrictions go away but you have to follow the rules. So once you turn 18 and if you manage to get accepted in a university/college (each region has different ways to get into one so you will probably get filled with the information once you get to about level 13) and your choice will play a huge role on the quality of gameplay and your income. After that you start working for other players mostly higher level than you untill about level 65 and after that your income gets cut but you don't have to work anymore(there are ways to do that earlier but that's the most common playthrough and yes they are based on RNG and on other player's choice) if you manage to get to here you will soon realise that the end game is really shit because there is also a random level when instead of buffs you start getting small nerfs also based on RNG. All in all there are a lot of things I didn't mention but you will get filled with other information during gameplay or you will figure out on your own. I hope this poorly written guide on "real life" was hopeful. :)

Realistically speaking, it's not like that wounded soldier is just getting a random injection and being sent back into the fight. Combat medics are supposed to carry their wounded back to camp, where the wounded will be treated and likely sent back home. And the killing of medics attempting to treat the wounded is a war crime, listed in the first-ever Geneva Convention in 1864. However, this is a game where the medic is also out there trying to shoot you. To hell with war crimes.

It is a war crime to attack people from the red cross, since they are unarmed and not military personnel. Medics however might be a grey zone since they are soldiers and they are armed.

the part when you said the feeling of being alone is what made me stop playing BF, i felt this when i was playing BF1 people just didn't play as a team. the team play feeling was gone, very different from BF4 and i really think it's because it's the lack of the "class" system, how everyone plays a role

from the way you talk about the game (voice comms, how you think it should be structured witha commander, weapon progression, etc) i think you would enjoy Squad a lot more since its a more hardcore, team oriented game and if you get a good server everyone uses their mics, and the atmosphere is just really good with everyone in each squad working together to try and achieve objectives.

@@qzl9 CS:GO has lack of content just like any other game, however it's competitive side is meant to be purely competitive and repeatable. That is why they have the ranking/deranking system and each competitive game can only go in 2 directions throughout each round.

Played it last night, still fun and brilliant maps, you really feel EXPANSE, that your in this massive war, shame EA don't support with better server allocation, so logging into say a UK server it would be more populated, with the current server setup its just like 3 players per team rather sad. The graphics amazingly hold up well for a game going on 9 years old. Amazing.

Hardcore? this sarcasm?. its gunplay is super simplistic to the point that anyone with more than 10 hrs in cs can dominate. And thats only when you can find a game with people in. I love the game but calling it hardcore is pushing it.

Aidan Gunplay doesn’t need to be complicated for a game to be hardcore. Yeah, of course it’s aim and shoot - the guns can’t fire more than once at a time, lmao. Also, if you ever have any issue finding a game, just switch to EU servers..? There’s always a few good sized games on EU/US servers if you just switch and look for them.

I skipped BF4 and played BF1 and everything you're saying hits home. I remember joining this huge BF3 clan (5th SFG or something) and really working as a squad with people who wanted to play as a team. It's fun to win in these games and often times to win you need to work together. You get out what you put in a lot of times. BF1 was so lonely, like you said here. I'm not a great FPS player skillwise which is why I loved BF3 was so much fun because I could be useful outside of firefights. The games are tight but there doesn't seem to be enough incentive in-game for team work. I don't know how you fix it though. It's not really a developer issue

To what you said about what makes Battlefield 5, I personally think what makes it different is the grand operations and the tides of war. I however believe the game will be remembered more as a marketing disaster and while it had potential was instead ruined by EAs own ignorance and disconnect with its community
