I'm kind of shocked that I'm feeling hopeful that EA is going to create a good game, but... Everything they're adding in here just looks really cool, and the devs seemed to have been given the freedom to approach development of this game the right way. We'll see if it all holds up, it's easier to make cool trailers than it is to make a fun game, but I'm cautiously optimistic about this, and I didn't expect to be.

No dev change is a good thing. This isn’t the nfl players are only here for a short time and dev trait is essentially the intangible, off field stuff that makes a player great. Doesn’t mean some can’t go off with a lower dev trait just means they won’t devolop the same as others who maybe weren’t as good the first couple years. That makes sense. Also will help the sim decide which players should go to the nfl. Good performance isn’t the only thing that decides we’re a player is drafted

I’m so hyped to have multiple Dynasties with multiple schools that are all distinctly different instead of just finding a few plays I like, that are good, and just run the same scheme at every school. I’m excited to have a school with a custom playbook I build, a long term Dynasty with a lower rated school, and a Dynasty with a title contender. My basic three, but even those can be so different in this game! Super pumped.

When Saban went down to FL and got the number 1 wr in his first few seasons at Bama, he started the pipeline of them getting the top ranked WR in south Florida. If you’re 7 or more years into a career, you should absolutely be able to have different pipelines!!

So the recruiting is like adding all the things the devs liked from the previous games, while adding in the transfer portal craziness. One thing I would like to see in future versions of the game is the ability to recruit players for future years. Colleges today are already recruiting Class of 2026 and 2027 players. It would be cool if you could recruit HS juniors, as well as the seniors.

A big thing for me is, in play now, are these teams going to have the coach abilities that their real coach would have? In dynasty, it makes sense to start from scratch since you’re a new coach, but in play now, I want the teams to play like they do in real life. I’ll just use Tennessee as an example because they’re my team. Josh Heupel’s tempo offense in real life causes all the benefits that the tempo offense ability ladder has (his offensive players are extremely well conditioned and can go a lot of plays without subbing or slowing down, his tempo causes defenses to get caught off guard or not entirely set up, it causes substitution infractions on the defense, his offense plays better when they’re in rhythm and often rips off a huge play right after a tempo first down, etc) I get that Heupel himself won’t be in the game, but if Tennessee’s generic coach doesn’t have similar abilities, playing as Tennessee in play now won’t be as fun, and they probably won’t have the advantage in the tempo scenario that they do in real life. I imagine other teams will be similar in that way. This is very worrying for me.

Really reallyyy like what I am seeing here. I have no doubt that this game will be plenty of fun. I have one concern that will probably only be answered by playing on release. On NCAA 14 there was only a progression system, meaning players only went up in overall and never went down. From what I have seen so far, this game intends to keep the tradition of no regression on players. I would not want anything dramatic, but if players with normal progression patterns had the possibility of going down maybe 4 overall points at maximum that would be cool. Another concern of mine is the progression/regression of schools. With that said, I really hope that after 5 years a team like Ohio State does not just fall off the face of the earth. Also vice versa, with how Army in NCAA 14 would become a powerhouse after a few years. If you can't tell by now, the progression/regression of players and teams is a really big deal to me for immersion purposes.

When it comes to Pride stickers can you reach out to the dev team and ask if they are aware that schools like Michigan don't reset their stickers at the end of the year? I've noticed in the trailer most UM players don't have their pride stickers. Unlike OSU and FSU who change their stickers year to year Michigan stickers are harder to come by and they accumulate over 4 years. So when you're playing week 1 with UM you'll easily be able to tell who's a 2 year/year 3 player and who's a freshman. Obviously something only us die hard UM fans will notice but it would be a nice distinction for UM when I'm playing dynasty mode.

I've been holding out on buying a PS5 until this game is released. I just ordered ( last week) a Digital PS5 and the Disk Add-on and also pre ordered CF25 Exclusive Steelbook edition from Wal-Mart. I got the PS5 and disk player the very next day. I really hope I get the game in the mail on release day. CF is the only game I ever play on my PS3 and I been a PC gamer for the last 20 years, but currently don't play any game really. So I'm super excited for this release. I know this video is about gameplay/content coming once the game drops but I've noticed you talking about dynasty teams on here and twitter. If I can recommend interesting ideas for dynasty, I think it'd be really cool if you had one team you'd do a year-round dynasty with, like your favorite team or a team builder team while still doing the rebuilds you do as one off videos. Personally, I'd love to see a Kentucky dynasty from you just to see how you build/rebuild your favorite team. What directions you'd take them in. Definitely would be tapped in for every episode

the only thing i’m worried about with the transfer portal is in the soccer video game ea makes (fifa/ ea fc) players or youth prospects would ask to play in games like finals or other important games but they were only 65 overall and if you didn’t play them they would request to leave. so imagine you have to win a game to make a bowl game or the playoffs and you have some 70 overall sophmore talking about how he needs to start next week

One suggestion I have for next years game is the addition of team chemistry affecting recruiting. New recruits are going to contact current players to ask about the program. If morale and/or chemistry is high then you know your players will speak highly of the program. (Example is UGA players are bought in with Kirby which shows recruits he’s a good leader and coach)

I'm interested in the substitution/sub package options which I haven't seen touched upon anywhere. A robust substitution system or a snap count manager system would seem important with the introduction of wear and tear but they've said nothing about what mechanisms are in the game to manage the new system. It's going to be annoying if you have to manually sub players in and out all the time.

I think the biggest thing that makes this game so much better than madden is that on top of adding new things they carried over many things from the previous game. This allows the floor of the game to be really good so the new additions can only make the game better and if they are subpar then the game is still about as good as the last. The new madden’s have significantly less than previous madden’s making it hard to justify getting hyped or excicted
