What bends my brain is that I remember back in 2008 I was talking to my sister's boyfriend at the time who was also a huge Iowa fan, and we were talking about how badly we wanted a new head coach THEN. Its 16 years later and I'm still waiting! It's just time! Is he going to keep coaching Iowa until he's just a skeleton on the sidelines?! When comparing College Football 25 and Madden 25, we have to consider that the NCAA is much more modern and in-tune with the fans than the NFL is, especially considering the video games that their brand is attached to. The NFL, since the birth of the Madden series, has been so micro-managing as to what they can add and what they have to remove. For example, the NFL made EA remove certain injures such as concussions because they thought it would damage their reputation, as if people don't already know that concussions are a risk of football. Meanwhile, whenever the college games were still coming out every year, the NCAA would pretty much say yes to whatever EA wanted to add to the games, like job security, certain injuries, and most importantly (at least to me), team builder. The NFL are such sticklers about their reputation that they don't want Madden to include a team builder that could potentially (and let's be honest, definitely) feature online players making inappropriate team names/logos/etc. But NCAA sees that people enjoy being able to build their own school and create their own mascot, jerseys, etc, so they allow EA to add it to the game every year, including this year. So in conclusion of this absolute yap sesh, NCAA is better than NFL and that's why the game is better.

College games have always been reskinned madden games with basic ui and design differences and some extra features. Still the same game with the same gameplay and the same animations, college games only "played" differently because of the playbooks and rulesets. These games will be dog shit and continue to be dog shit until they move on to a real physics based engine that properly simulates football. You people are beyond help, not only is cfb the same game, all of ea sports titles are the same games with the same engine and thats why they wont move to a physics based engine, its easier/more profitable to just reskin and recycle assets then it is to have to make individual assets for specific games.
