This looks like xenoverse 2/dbz kakarot style gameplay but way more cinematic and stylised and I like the inclusion of the team dynamic similar to what jump force had.

Sadly it does look too much like xenoverse when it comes to combat and idk if bandi realizes but most of us old tenkaichi fans want nothing to do with xenoverse combat style.

@@johnmehlman5195 no I never played xenoverse im just making stuff up for the hell of it... The square auto combos are directly inspired by xenoverse. If you can't see that then something is up with your IQ. It is not quite like Tenkaichi. It has a lot of inspiration from Tenkaichi and thinks taken from it but also things changed and taken out and not for the better .. this just doesn't look as good combat wise. Everybody is blinded by hype. I was too until I saw it for myself. Maybe I'm wrong and it will be more in depth then what we're seeing but that vanishing auto square combo is directly inspired by xenoverse. Yes they have the flying kicks and all that with the Y button still but they are missing alot from the core fighting mechanics of Tenkaichi and it's not for the better

@@oOSonicexeOo well tbh I can't say xenoverse wasn't fun but it just wasn't as fun as tenkaichi because of the battle system in tenkaichi.. they seemed to have stripped it down a lot and it's now a mixture between Tenkaichi with some xenoverse inspiration mixed in. Don't like that. Should've just left sparking as what it was and maybe only added to it.. not taken away

I like that the battle damage is based on the show, so not everyone has their clothes ripped off and such because it didn't happen there. Like Burter doesn't get his outfit torn for instance so the game doesn't have it for him. Vegeta does so that gets it.

As someone who has tried to get into it time and time again (and failed, it's kinda awful, the story is terrible, the fights are all flash no substance, the power system leaves a lot to be desired), the game looks like any other arena fighter cash grab to me. All you have to do is press one button, the game is being balanced on lore and not game balance so the one character I'm interested in (SSJ2 Gohan who we don't even know if he's going to be in the game or not), and it's taking out features like local multiplayer which would get me to be willing to actually try the game. I can't give it a fair shot now because it's not worth the $70 they're pricing it at, but I can't try it if my boyfriend or another friend buys it because there's no local multiplayer. No other game in the genre has been this hard on my eyes, it just seems really incoherent from the footage I've watched.

Every character in this game square combos into that vanishing move and it's repetitive and what I like least about the game so far.. it's a major dislike though because they've taken out a lot of the fighting mechanics from bt3. Idk why they did that but it's going to get old real fast and start to feel similar to xenoverse which is where I think they got that idea from. It looks pretty but that is too big of an issue for me to ignore and call this game the best DBZ game. I don't think it will be

The game looks beautiful. I am VERY cautiously optimistic as we've been burned far too many times by lofty promises and flashy visuals/trailers. I really hope this game is a return to the classic three games. I'm not a fan of each transformation having a character slot; I would have liked to see each character slot being from each era and having the transformations tied to that. For example: end of DBZ Goku being separated from GT Goku and having SS 1-3 along with Kaioken. While GT Goku has access to SS 1-4.
