Especially Nighty Nightmare and Battle for Bikini Bottom on the PC. Those are literally entirely different games. It's arguable if BFBB on the PC even has any relation to the console counterparts besides there being robots on the loose.

I feel bad for Purple Lamp Studios because they did a fantastic job with BFBB Rehydrated and the Cosmic Shake but unfortunately the former underperformed in sales. I'm guessing because it wasn't advertised well enough. It's a small austrian indie studio with a lot of talent and passion and I hope they don't get shut down.

It was another point and click, and you got to play as a bunch of different characters and all the locations were really iconic and creative. Recently just finished Cosmic Shake, and I agree with you it’s one of the best SpongeBob games ever. They literally nailed it as a successor to SpongeBob BFBB RH. I remember playing a SpongeBob game on a leap year “leapster”handheld toy as a very young child. “SpongeBob saves the day” the goal of the game was to try and guess the krabby patty formula by cooking burgers, collecting and adding change, and various kinds of learning based mini games. as SpongeBob. It was my favorite of all the leap year games, even though the Dora one wasn’t bad. I hope to track those down someday. It’s like a fever dream memory now.
