I Played FIFA 14... On PS2?!

The fact that this game came out on THREE playstation generations.. with considerably different graphics.. is astonishing to me. It just shows, though, how popular and long-lived the playstation 2 was due to the fact that obviously it’s the most successful console ever, and that a game 2 generations newer was one of the last games released for it. I played fifa 14 on both ps3 and ps4, but it seems like a different game completely on ps2, it’s crazy.

ps2 version is a port from android and ios version I believe.

It is!! And was on PSP and PS Vita too. It’s crazy how many versions of Fifa 14 there were graphic-wise. I remember playing on 3DS and IOS where they were similar graphics wise and were like Fifa 12 or 13 and then seeing it on PSP and PS2 where it was more like 08 or 09 graphics

Damn, I had no idea this was a thing. As a suggestion, how about covering the UCL 2006-2007 game? I find that game really underrated and forgotten for what it had. Classic challenges, the treble story mode, the very first ultimate team (on the console version, PC didnt have that), the sticker book collection for achievements etc.

Almost definitely the last time we'll ever see a FIFA game released across three different console generations! But yeah, pretty much is just FIFA 08 with an updated soundtrack and the kits and rosters for the 2013-14 season.

The PES PS2 games have definitely aged pretty well, I agree! They still feel really responsive and fluid, whereas this unfortunately just felt quite clunky and unresponsive.

@@RichLeigh PES was way better but FIFA 7 was more responsive than this. There are way too many glitches that considering it was the same game as FIFA 10 they had time to weed out the bugs and smooth it over.
