You don't ever need to be a millionaire bro (as in having liquid assets of one million).. The vast vast majority of millionaires usually end up making friends with people richer than them and then they go in debt to "keep up with the joneses".. They still make loads of money and can pay their debts but eventually they fail and have to start liquidating heavily.. I would be very impressed if you could make 150k playing 10/20 for a year and would like to see you play the main event or any tournament that can net you 1 million dollars. I would be very impressed if you never need to get staked. Getting stake is insanely lame and running it twice is possibly the death of poker as we know it. Strive to have a pair of balls and understand the tilt of saying NO to running it twice will net your far far more money than being nice and running it twice. Tilt is your friend. Generate that tilt. Only play big tournaments that pay big money, when you win you win big. Generating tilt in cash games is your bread and butter though. Run it once. Only run it twice when you know you are behind, that also generates tilt.

I think you shoulda just gave up after your flop cbet with the 65 hearts didnt work.The board hits her range, solvers say you can flat a bunch of hands in the sb that connect with that board. Tournaments are a lot different then cash. On the 66 hand I'm probably raise folding on the river.

This is not cash game, u should fef be tighter, even opening 6 5 suited too loose at that time..u got really lucky with pocket sixes..playing high variance poker in a tourney like that is not a good recipe in tourney poker

You're just another rookie on the road to busto who thought the age-old rules didn't apply to him. Well, sorry, they do apply to you. I just wanna say I think you should play more while you’re there. I took a trip to Houston to play poker about a month ago. On the first day of the trip I ran so bad and lost $2k almost half of my bankroll for the trip. Decided to keep going, and the next day I won a $3,200 Omaha hand. I know it’s easier said than done, and while you’re in a downswing you just feel like shit. But variance comes and goes, just keep grinding man. :)
